nope.... but in settine> mobile network, i already turn on the data connection

Setup your 3G/4G connection at Settings > Access Point

im using celcom,

what should i do?

u using cut sim or new micro sim?

if cut sim last time cannot pakai ..u need to change new micro sim

OR..set data connection to ON >bandwith = 3G (instead of 4G)

then press volume down button + power button (hold it for 10sec) ..to perform soft reset

if cannot solve then u might need to go telco and get 1 proper micro sim

i use old sim, and have celcom cut it to fit into the sim slot...

already set to 3g

did the soft set thing... noe got 3 lines icon on top of the scrn

ah 3g aready come up... ca cnnect alread...t6hxs

remember ..if happen weird weird stuff on windows phone

soft reset can solve most of the problem liao

just need to readjust time and date

May I know where did you get your Lumia 1020 from? For how much? What's in the retail package?

from 1gadget. u can find him in mobilephone garage sale sec. for rm2199 including postage.
comes from the box is the phone+camra grip+earphone, charging adapter, cabel for data/charging

do i need app to get connected to my fb? say to upload pic that i just snap

u got link your outlook or hotmail to your phone right?

go to contact > (under right bottom got ... click it) > setting > scroll to bottom > add account

add facebook account (login it)

then once it sync

u can go to "ME" or your outlook profile photo tiles at main screen ..click it ( u should able to see facebook update)


then next time when u want upload photo ..just go to album > ... > share > facebook

PS: share picture via this way will automatic set privacy as public

at 1st page got some good apps can install

or u can go to wpcentral or wmpoweruser

or windowsphone.com/en-us/store/ << connect your phone with wifi ...find apps using your pc + login your outlook account ..then click install ..it will automatic sent to your phone

Seems like they having hard time to sell 1020. Hope they adjust the pricing.

This is really not true.
This is a marketing strategy, a company doesn't simply not plan for their product.
They have similar campaign for the 920 too and this means they are trying to push the market to expand.
Competing and trying to make 41mp viral is what I see that they are trying to do, coming from an advertising student.

Plus those who buy at Nokia Store will get the free Gorilla pod anyway.
Don't even need to go to those roadshows... but if you go you can get other free goodies.
And of course taking picture with amoi cantik.

Just want to ask, why did the official price says RM 2499 and they can sell a bit cheaper?

Any difference between the official sale from nokia & this one?
