Any difference between the official sale from nokia & this one?

Just curious. Planning to buy one. Thank you smile.gif

Want to ask you all..

Have you experience any battery & heat issue problem?

Because I hear for quite sometime, there's heat & battery problem with other versions of Lumia (Lumia 920, 925, 800). What about this 1020?

Oh, after how many minutes? If after half an hour of use, i think its just normal.. maybe..

And about the battery life. can it get through 1 day with medium usage of internet, call, messaging?

last charged like 8-9am am bfore i go to work... now after wasap, snap p;ic, check mail, check fb, still got 64%....  dunno thats normal or not...  this is my 1st 'smartphone' lol
*
I think its quite ok. Depends also on the type of connection, whether u're using 3G or 2G.

My experience having used a Lumia 800 before, the battery life will be better after quite some time.

I'm considering to buy 925 or 1020.

Besides the camera features in 1020, what are the other things that make you all bought 1020?

Any opinion? Thank you.

Wah quite cheap with celcom plan smile.gif

I don't really understand the plan actually. So I will pay for example RM1700 for the phone & also needed to pay RM88 monthly for 24 months. Am I correct?

Just askin, a bit confuse wink.gif

1. You get locked into a 24 months contract where you pay RM88 per month to them for their postpaid plan
2. You pay RM1688 (phone) + RM700 advance payment (also for the phone, but they don't state that) when you signup for a total of RM2388 up front
3. The RM700 will slowly be credited into your celcom billing account. Meaning that RM70 is deducted from your celcom bill per month for 10 months (RM88-70 x 10 months) and then it's back to full RM88 per month.

That's how I understand it. Correct me if I'm wrong though  notworthy.gif
*
Oh ok. So IMO its better to buy the phone at RRP price.

Now its about RM2200.

Hello guys. Just bought 1020.

One question about the OneShot app.. Is it worth to buy it or the Pro Cam app is enough for 1020?

I've seen the app (OneShot) has been recommended by many reviewers. Just askin. Thank You.

worth it, awesome app fully utilizing the camera SDK, i use it with 6tag  smile.gif

but do fully test out the pro cam first as it's better if you want 36/38MP photos....
*
Thanks for the info. OneShot looks promising wink.gif

Oh, forgot to ask one thing.

How u guys usually purchase an App from the Store?

I plan on using the CIMB E.master Debit card (Prepaid style) to make purchase which i long long time no use after having credit card.

My account region last time initially was set to Singapore because of Xbox 360. But I think i already set back to Malaysia region last time.

You can set up your debit/credit card on your phone. There will be an option to enter your debit card info once you click the 'buy' button.
