Tis mall crowded like hell on xmas day. But tesco biz is not gd.

i didnt realize that too.. thought its just tesco with fancy look. is it true that their stuff are much higher compared to normal tesco?

Kindly substantiate the above statement. There were many long queues every time I went there despite many counters were opened.

Other than the 'slightly better than usual Tesco' interior, what exactly is so 'premium' about it? Very limited imported stuffs, fruits also not fresh or even rotten (Kiwi in this case), price basically no difference from the standard Tesco, etc. It is nowhere near Mercato, B.I.G, Isetan, or even Jaya Grocer's level in terms of 'premium'. It is just the usual Tesco with better decoration. That's it.

I'm a fmcg supplier to them. Sales comparison to all other stores showed the performance of it even the kajang one is winner against it. I went there twice tat i din really c lotsa ppl in Q. Maybe just the timing I was there.

Hmm then what is the reason for the less crowds compared to the other conventional Tesco s' around ? Any ideas ?

Is this a good shopping place for Puchong people?
I think Puchong more used to Sunway because of close proximity?

It's too far and somemore have to pay toll.

Definite not a good place for groceries shopping because there enough of that already in puchong.

While the parking is free, people don't mind spending a few hours there look see look see.

Looking at IOI's plan, there is actually another 50% of it left for phase II.

Parking charges start 2 Jan onward.. first 3 hours....weekday RM1. Weekend RM3........ After that every hour RM1 or part of it.

Seriously? Then I really wonder what the consumers were buying because it's always super crowded whenever I passed by or went into the store (and I go IOI City Mall at least once a week).

Weekend is not that cheap. Hopefully the crowd will reduce a bit then.

Have you been there? I usually go to the mall during weekend so that's probably why I always saw a big crowd as opposed to the conventional Tesco which I will usually go after 9-10pm.

However based on the crowd that I saw whenever I was there, it's pretty hard to believe their business is not good.

Isn't that tesco has a standard price for all their outlets? Got different one ar? Later when advertise, need to specify for which outlets lor???
