you, sir, are a lord in explaining all these technicalities  notworthy.gif  I've always felt the same, but couldn't really explain to my friends how and why I'm so adamant on loving and choosing BB over other OSs, especially Android. now I can easily explain to them why it's so worth buying the 'overpriced' BBs compared to other Android devices, especially on the privacy part! Kudos!  rclxm9.gif  notworthy.gif  thumbup.gif

You know, both of the quotes are already, very outdated.
(Yes, I realize that you quoted my words)

The answer to first quote.
===> FOXCONN (LOL!)

To the second quote:
The Z30 is very powerful. Dual core processor + quad core GPU with 2GB of RAM = smoothness. It won't be faster than any other Android phones. But it will be SMOOTH. The 10.2.1 Android runtime update is good enough. Think of it as Nokia X. But it can do better than Nokia X's silly implementation of redirecting services to Microsoft services. But that's another story.

But the best way to explain the BlackBerry experience is that... "its an acquired taste". I don't drink alcohol, but I think those who do can really understand this term.

Three reasons why BB10 is really good.
1) Blackberry Hub is simply the most efficient and effective communications manager.
2) Has very good multi-tasking implementation. The "cards" are running apps. But they are also widgets that updates and presents information.
3) Swipe gestures are the way forward. Its weird at first, but once you're used to it, its hard not to appreciate how effective swiping is compared to pressing buttons.

Four reasons why people don't like BB10.
1) When they think communications they think apps. Everything is app based. E-mail is app 1, SMS is app 2, Whatsapp is app 3, etc. So they don't see the reason for the Blackberry Hub.
2) They see Blackberry Hub and they think notifications. But in reality not comparable.
3) They see multi-tasking and they think press a button to see running apps.
4) Lack of apps. But if you use a BB10 device having 100 apps installed probably not on the agenda.

I got one finally sir, all thanks to you! And yes, it is very powerful! I especially like the auto correct ability after some time of usage-- very precise. But is it normal for the keyboard lagging to key in my words or is it that I type too fast? Cause I checked running apps and all but all other aspects when it happens but the phone seems to run very smoothly other than the input while I'm typing.

Super true. My sister played with my Z30 and she kept swiping up and around on her S4 later on, and got frustrated on that too,ha! She's also starting to "jokingly" hinting of how I should pass her my Z10 or my Z30. As if! Anyone who lets go of their z30 is.. Uhm, rare, I guess. I also find it harder to use back button and such when I'm already too used with dancing my fingers up and around between apps. Also, I don't need too much apps. Those I need are already in BlackBerry World and the few extra from android I can easily side/download with the Web browser. I never used that much plethora of apps even on android anyways.

I think should be around 900++, depending on where or shop you can find but can see here rarely people sell their Z30, I guess most of them love it brows.gif

If you don't really use your motor x, I suggest you trade in. Might save you some money. The camera might benefit from a better performance, but overall the jump I made from android to BlackBerry OS is really worth it. I hope this helps a little. smile.gif

Ah, I understand your feeling. The new OS is so much better with Z30 bigger screen. And the hub is such a blessing. After using BlackBerry 10 android might seem a little crowded for me tongue.gif

Depends on what you miss from BB - the physical keyboard? In that case then the Q devices would be for you.

If you miss the kick-ass email handling capabilities but like to have a big screen then any of the Z devices would do.

BB OS 10 did not support bis package..
so if you download movie using bb10, it will drain your data..
