QUOTE(mystvearn @ Dec 5 2013, 02:57 PM) I would like to see what happens after that 148 km is up. Either become negative, or it will stay like 100 km for the next 150km distance. oh yeah. im not trying that option yet (opening fuel cap option). will try it later.Something like this happened to me, but slightly different. My fuel consumption kept saying 200 km left, even though the tank is full and I've done more than 200 km. It still says 200 km. Then suddenly it goes back to normal. I think that time, I was driving back from KL>KB via LPT. I notice this happened after I refuelled once in the midway in journey. That or either I keep ploughing through potholes like I don't care. Otherwise just wait. It will reset back to normal. Have you tried to open the fuel cap just to release the air pressure? Maybe that helps but since u telling ur story..i hope it at least same like u. no time to go sc ma. btw this is my current meter. |

I don't think it will cause a lot of problems. It will reset itself. As long as the fuel indicator is correct, the distance left will auto-correct

QUOTE(mystvearn @ Dec 8 2013, 08:53 AM) Nice. Got bigger pic of rims The one im using is Lenso Project D Spec E Black color. Size i remain the same 17 inch. Dont want to use bigger rim cos the price for the tire will be more expensive. And yes i trade in my old rim and tire during my purchase. I believe there are no goodyear efficientgrip tyres similar in size with the stock tyres? Any ideas for quiet tyres? The one that im using is a bit noisy compare to the old one but the peformence is a lot better then before especially on wet road. If you want something less noisy but still have excellent grip, you could try Michelin PS3, Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 or Yokohama Advan V551. Those tire have very good grip on dry or wet road but they are a bit expensive - RM500+ If you want something cheaper, try out c-drive 2 or xm2. QUOTE(donker @ Dec 8 2013, 09:00 AM) Mr Volt, how do they perform compared to stock Achilles 2233? (In terms of ride comfort especially?) So far this tires perform excellent on dry and wet road. Especially on wet road, i can now cut corner a bit faster then before. This tires arent that hard so they dont bounce alot compare to other performance tire. In term of quietness, as I said earlier, this tires are a bit noisy on the road. I notice instantly during my driving back to home. Anyway I hope it can last longer then falken ze912. That tire only last me 35k km on my alza last time. This post has been edited by Volt: Dec 8 2013, 02:20 PM |

QUOTE(Volt @ Dec 8 2013, 06:57 PM) Err...Arent 10k km quite short for normal driver? Unless you drive like a professional drifter that over take cars on corners, then that make sense Until recently, I always thought 10k was the norm .The car shop say you should get at least 20k km. I mentioned to him, I have never obtained more than 10k km. Always botak by then. QUOTE(dares @ Dec 8 2013, 07:23 PM) I think it is because the CH-simpang pulai and the EWHW road I always use. I think I drive normal. Slow into corner, then accelerate fast (say 5-6k RPM) out of corner. That is what GT5 and F1 drivers tell you to do. Brake wherever necessary. That was for a Honda Accord. Normal people can get from KB-KL in 3/4 tank. I need 2x full tanks. Even my previous Savvy also cannot get more than 10k km on set of tyres. Best record KB-Penang Island 4 hours flat in Savvy. Doubt I can do any faster regardless of car via EWHW. I did manage to trigger the hazard lights on my SS under 40 km This post has been edited by mystvearn: Dec 8 2013, 10:27 PM |
