I've done my 1st service yesterday. Decided to use full synthetic since i drive alot. I also requested for them to reset/change my HU language, somehow my current language is in Spanish. But they say they lack the knowledge to do it since that HU just come out. So guys, any idea how to change it back to english?

QUOTE(~Rogue~ @ Sep 22 2013, 12:29 PM) wow, guys, i accidentally change my setting language to espanol. now i cant change it back to english, went into the setting>language>its blank there haha bro, let us learn Spanish together. Im having the same problem as you. my system setting is in spanish since day 1. SC in sg besi cant fix it, they told me that sc at shah alam might help resolve this issue. But im lazy to go there right now. maybe later during my 10k service. |

QUOTE(nairud @ Sep 24 2013, 12:18 PM) LOL, Sadly the default language is already in Spanish by the time I collect the car. I though it was a temporary problem cos the SA told me it can be easily fixs at any SC. but a bit disappointed after hearing that not all SC can solve this problem.Dont ever change to spanish for other owners who are fiddling around with the language. Once you change to spanish, when you go back to the language option, you will see an empty list of language for you to choose. I've changed from Eng to German and back to english. no prob since in german language, the list of language is still available. Then i changed to spanish, and it is stuck to spanish forever. I tested this in one of the showroom 3 weeks ago. Last week i went back to the showroom and ask about the language issue, the SA told me right before i went in, Proton representative has replace the showroom car's HU and bring the "spanish" HU back to fix. i guess it'll be fixed anytime soon |

So far i havent faced any major problem. only facing few minor problem such as the HU unit which sometimes hang without a reason and my navigation system dont work anymore. Besides that, my emergency light will randomly turn on its own when I start the engine. It dont effect the ride but can be a lil bit annoying.
Anyway, my mileage is almost reaching 8k. Looking forward to fixes those problem on my next service. |

QUOTE(aragongon @ Dec 5 2013, 01:06 PM) I think it is not fair to compare Suprema S with Vios G! Dont know which aspect you are talking about.Comparing a latest high end proton model with a lowest end 10 year old spec Toyota model, is kind of insulting Proton. But still if Suprema S can't beat the 10 year old spec VIOS G in every aspect (e.g. fuel consumption)... I got nothing to say to Proton... The only thing that suprima cant beat the vios is only the reliability, the build quality, FC and RV. Other then that suprima is pretty much better then vios G. I think most suprima owner here can buy vios if they want too but to me, vios is not fun to drive. Too slow and the handle is not good too. |

QUOTE(mystvearn @ Dec 8 2013, 08:53 AM) Nice. Got bigger pic of rimsĀ The one im using is Lenso Project D Spec E Black color. Size i remain the same 17 inch. Dont want to use bigger rim cos the price for the tire will be more expensive. And yes i trade in my old rim and tire during my purchase. I believe there are no goodyear efficientgrip tyres similar in size with the stock tyres? Any ideas for quiet tyres? The one that im using is a bit noisy compare to the old one but the peformence is a lot better then before especially on wet road. If you want something less noisy but still have excellent grip, you could try Michelin PS3, Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 or Yokohama Advan V551. Those tire have very good grip on dry or wet road but they are a bit expensive - RM500+ If you want something cheaper, try out c-drive 2 or xm2. QUOTE(donker @ Dec 8 2013, 09:00 AM) Mr Volt, how do they perform compared to stock Achilles 2233? (In terms of ride comfort especially?) So far this tires perform excellent on dry and wet road. Especially on wet road, i can now cut corner a bit faster then before. This tires arent that hard so they dont bounce alot compare to other performance tire. In term of quietness, as I said earlier, this tires are a bit noisy on the road. I notice instantly during my driving back to home. Anyway I hope it can last longer then falken ze912. That tire only last me 35k km on my alza last time. This post has been edited by Volt: Dec 8 2013, 02:20 PM |

Err...Arent 10k km quite short for normal driver? Unless you drive like a professional drifter that over take cars on corners, then that make sense
