So that means either
- Senq is stupid to put shipping weight
- Senq is evil to drive sales to appliance tablets

Met with ASUS.my folks earlier today and asked about the T100 stocks. The person mentioned the T100 32GB + 500GB HDD will be available at PC Fair this weekend.

Not sure of the price though as am waiting for more info about it plus other ASUS products at PC Fair.

Is the 32 GB in SSD or eMMC ?

So the O/S is on the 32GB whilst the 500GB HDD is on the dock ?

ASUS Malaysia's facebook page just confirmed that stocks of the upgraded T100 has just arrived and advised potential buyers to go to the stores to have a look.

a China user open up the T100, the eMMC brand with Sandisk..............beside this still found a 8GB USB unknown storage chip, most probably is for recovering purpose

Anyway for the average joe to check without opening up the system? I guess Device Manager should show what the disk is right?

eMMC is one of the type of SSD........

the different is single or multi chip

based on the old T100, the eMMC is fixed on the board...............if Asus wanna change it to conventional SSD, it need re-design the board. I think Asus wont do it. Most probably the new batch still eMMC.

its nothing wrong to call eMMC as SSD, some manufacturer doing such

Those who go PC Fair (3 days starting tomorow) kindly check at Device Manager for disk info to confirm.
