then faster go sell 7 ipad to average the share price, later you will able to buy 7 notebooks from dividend.

this is reits....captial appreciation is secondary.

I buy reits for my retirement plan & keep in freezer for yield.

i am just concerned it's gonna get worse than that...

usd poised to strengthen, rm weak as ever, that's a given.

now, we might see some other shocker coming. i doubt boland reits will be spared...

Next emerging market sell-off may be time to pounce

Others agree: "Tapering might cause a 10 percent to 15 percent down move in some emerging markets," private banking group Julius Baer said in a note.

But some are preparing to pounce on the decline. "It would be a great opportunity to buy places like Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines on (finally) cheap prices," added Julius Baer, which has around 341 billion Swiss francs ($384 billion) under management.

You know.. last time a wise man once said... buy stock when there is fear going around.. nod.gif

All kindly of 'impending' disaster news, moaning about capital loss, regrets of holding the stock, refuse to add more due to possible falling knife, waiting for positive signal, cutting loss... etc etc

All the above is a signs of 'fear'...

And now we compare to 1 year ago, on 'exuberance', when people are predicting REIT is sure guaranteed way to passive income, property price is infallible, price can only go up.. etc etc.

See the difference?> wink.gif

How come the perception can change so fast..? whistling.gif

But no.. we are not at capitulation stage yet, but are getting there, so there might be more selldown down the line.. laugh.gif

anyway, when we dont get knocked down, we wont know

i think someone back there made good points about capital appreciation/depreciation in reits. these are important too and should not be discounted just becoz reits are for 'long term'.

with so many people getting stuck, its going to be sometime before reits can be nursed back to health again

fear or no fear? buy or sell or hold?

deng deng deng blush.gif

You fear or not?

Anyway capital loss in REIT reduces your IRR so it DOES matter... whistling.gif

Am just gonna live with it. Keep on compiling if the price falls further. No point having sleepless night thinking of what could have been. Besides REITs are shareholdings. Will increase in price during the next boom cycle. Indirectly will increase dividend yields also.

My View is Icap Boss used to a wise man, now also no more that Wise with fat charges....... laugh.gif

Keeping super Overvalued stocks or Large CASH also deemed to be good by him. No Fear of stocks overvalued ?

Everything seems to change with Time ., none is static.......to me

Banker and player views may not be the same also....depending on which side u support hmm.gif

But no harm to slowly catch some reits for those have near zero holdings in reits........
