Edit the xml file. Make a copy and rename as backup just in case.

The line should be somewhere at the bottom. Default value should be 5. Change it to your preference.

Whoever is on leaked 4.3 version from sammobile, do you encounter google account removal with each reboot?? I feel it so annoying especially when you have multiple google accounts

Compressed RAM and swap will always be inferior to the real thing. But it IS useful if "the real thing" is not an option.

Yet another reason why I ran the eff away from my S3. 1GB of RAM can only go so far.

I was on DN3 and the battery drains really fast even though im using some battery saver app where it will disable my data usage whenever the screen is off.. still it drains pretty fast... like 30% for 4 hours with screen time less than 1 hour.....

do anything of u face battery drainage issue with custom roms?

I haven't had much of the problem itself, but I just installed this for good measure. Just make sure you "uninstall updates" for the Play Store from the application manager first.

Also, it might be a bloody placebo effect, but somehow everything's smoother now with the store fix above. It's really unlikely it had to do with anything but that's like the only thing I changed. Even the browser stutters less now.

My phone keeps freezing lately even after wipe and install some different roms (all on custom 4.3) and some research get me to the eMMC Brickbug Check  apps from playstore and it confirmed that I have the insane chip! Still not sure the freezing problems and some random reboots has anything to do with the chip so hope any bros here can give some advice.

Hey bro I screwed it big time! Was on Dr Ketan 4.3 then I flashed back to stock 4.1.2 due to freezing issues on 4.3 roms. Everything looks fine then I realized my imei has changed to the famous 0049990..... and no network detected! Go tru online till I blurred then accidentally deleted the efs folder with root explorer and replace with my efs (unzip from tar.gz), so now my phone imei still fake and i have this permanent frame with pda++ infos stick on my homescreen. Then after that I flashed other roms (stock and custom) it's still the same.
Haih.... any suggestions on where shall I go now? Samsung SC or others phone fixing shop.

i had one while back that last long like 2-3 months, and i changed new memory card Kingston Class 10 series..and it lasted not even a week..

the only thing i put inside my memory card is photo and music, nothing else

Does anyone know what file system is the Note 2 internal storage? I was recording a video in 1080p and it stopped automatically at 4GB (around 29 minutes).

I know FAT32 has 4GB per file size limitations but there's no conclusive info whether the internal storage of SGN2 is exFAT or FAT32.

Anyone tried recording videos larger than 4GB successfully, either in internal storage or external storage? I was also wondering if it's a hard limit by the default camera app for 1080p/720p on the SGN2, like the 5 minutes 4K recording on the Note 3.
