Stuck on boot screen (1st boot: Samsung Galaxy Note II, not the 2nd one)

Odin Product Name empty, no pit partition and only download mode working (not recovery mode)

I've read a lot of posts talking about SDS (Sudden Death Syndrome)

And I've got a good eMMC chip from a S3, just wondering if I could use that chip to this N7100...

u cant ........ Since download mode is working , is the the box yellow when connected to your N7100 ? What product name r u expecting ? If i remember correctly , it doenst show any name of device when u r connected

Yes, in yellow and Odin detects the device N7100, I expect to say Product Name: GT-N7100 and is empty...

Oh ok . I thought u were referring to the product name in odin program itself . Seems like SDS issue . I dunno will Samsung honor your warranty as your status is still custom . But u definitely cant swap the emmc as the whole board need 2 be change if i recall correctly

IF he can swap the SMT chip I will call him guru and put his name in Resident Experts.

Just act like you're a 2nd hand owner ("I dunno lar the first owner...") and bluff your way through the SC. Works 80% of the time lol.

At least it worked for my S3 last time. I got dumb and sent it fully custom, modded boot animation and all. Suffice to say I won't be doing it again though lol.

Good to take note that xddd is not based in Malaysia, I think he is from Venezuela. So, I think the practice of service centre may vary from us.

But then usually there are resistors to tell the other chips the specific chip speed, voltages etc....

Lets get a closer look @ the box for me guys.

if it is an ap unit, they r in deep trouble.

Also the battery and the bare open back of the unit with the battery out. Need to check all the relevant stickers are in place.

To check AP or SME why not call Samsung SC to check IMEI?

I think too many people are doing this, they probably stopped offering this service

Its ori SME..iinm the reason y they dont want to register is they can still sent back to their distributor and exchange for a new one..but if its already registered u must go to service centre by yourself and the shop cant do anything..

probably they also can do it recon and resell,.. some shop prefer buyer dont register too

Looks legit to me.
Sirim sticker is there..so does all the SME sticker plus the blue SME tape that sealed the box.

the moment i purchase it, they open the seal in front of me.
=)

I think it's the so the they can provide one to one exchange, like someone else mentioned here.
