Sooner or later..any phone with random imei that sent to service centre will need to pay for service/repair/reflash.
I think maybe it's one of the reason Samsung push for Knox.
Once it detect any tinkering..it will lock the modem. Any flashing afterwards won't effect the modem hence no more random imei issue. Unfortunately. .you stuck with that modem forever..lolz

Yap..not changeable. Once triggered. .you need to stay on that modem
You try flashing other modem..you lost data network but not the imei.
You flash full stock firmware..you lost your CSC together with all wifi features (imei intact tho)
I keep on tinkering mix and match until the phone bricked.
Stuck on Samsung logo and need to be revive at service centre. Luckily everything went smoothly

Am flash full stock firmware via MOP only. And my CSC missing..no wifi. Restored previous Nandroid solve this.
There are cases at xda that PC Odin show success flashing but no change from the phone itself.

But my case was based on S4 LTE..and it maybe an isolated random case..i'm not sure.
The fact that i lost CSC and wifi even when i flash full stock firmware make me nervous. Hope devs can find a way regarding this.

You got random imei...that's why no network.
Try look and flash the right modem.
Or if you have efs backup..try to restore it.

Try flash your last used stock modem and see if can bring up your imei.
Fail that..if you have efs backup..try restore that efs backup.
Fail that..root your phone..use TriangleAway to reset binary counter then flash full stock M'sian firmware.
then sent to service centre.

Can you tell us exactly which/what modem did you use that manage to fix your network and random imei problem.?

I believe Snapdragon S800 already have built in integrated LTE chip..right..?
Maybe devs can do some modding to activate that chip..?

Logically...yes..the hardware is already available inside the phone.

Flashing any N7105 firmware into N7100 will brick the phone
XZU can do it doesn't mean we also can. XZU use Snapdragon procs that already have integrated LTE chip inside. Note2 use Exynos 4412 for both N7100 and N7105 but the N7105 comes with extra separate LTE modem.

Send it back for replacement then. I use two 64Gb Sandisk for nearly two years now. So far so good.

Make sure you have a Nandroid backup and also efs backup before you flash any other roms as you might lose your imei if you use other modem.

Mine still okay but the cable looks ugly and dirty. Wonder why Samsung change colour from black to white..

Your phone become unrooted after factory reset..?

Install framaroot app from xda and try root your DMF2 with it.
