It does get heated at times but nowadays all smartphones do. The highest that I got on my xzl was 45'c after heavy browsing and Facebook.

The best SOT that I managed was 4 hours 16 mins with 14hours 41 mins standby time.

On 3g or WiFi?

Definitly on data, if WiFi can go more. Mine can get up to 4 hours tops. Xperia z btw.

Was like 70% of the time on 3G n the rest on WiFi. Was still left with 5% battery in the end.

Using Chrome browser with the ZL will make phone over heat like crazy.

FW 423 still has battery reading bug.
Mine was scrolling instagram while having 33% battery left but it shut down in sudden and totally 'dead' till next charging to turn it on.

Intel chip Don't get heated up.

Celcom you must change to LTE enabled sim. Can do it only at Menara Celcom jln SEMARAK, Bluecube Sunway, Pavilion n KLCC. This info is about 2 months ago. Call Celcom to find out any other newer centers that you can change it. Card will be activated within an hour.
Maxis can use any sim that is issued in past one year or two. If cannot detect than go change it as all latest sim is auto LTE enabled.
Both telco use back same APN settings as normal 3g.

that's quite good imo. way better than my previous s3mini and s2g. i wonder why people say the battery in zl is bad.

for me as long can last from morning to 8pm then it's good enough.

Who say zl battery are bad, i am using zl past four months, this device has good battery life, i would say best so far as i been used HOX AND S3 before.. My SOT 3.5 HRS with 17 HRS STANDBY

what apps usually will get overheated? browsing?

i dont have facebook, so dont care if facebook will get overheat.
chrome overheat, then i'll use opera.
im not a game freak. only play abit when im bored. and just normal game like unblock me, fruit ninja,
candy crush.

but will use 9gag, wassap, wechat, sms, call, line like crazy.

Overheating , not that i known of. As i used for browsing, played iron man 3 and asphalt 8 . The max temp goes to 47 c which i think is normal for a smartphone.

Honestly ZL does not heat up that bad.. quite ok..
