where to download zl stock 4.2.2 firmware (MY)?Because stock music, video and photo lost.

now how to root with 4.2.2?

There are no firmware for Malaysia region. Besides, all of our xz or xzL are under (SG) firmware. So check out the first page if this forum to know all about it:)

i see, so i just download sg firmware to flash it back?

about the root, i already read at the first page , so confuse, don't know still work or not?

recently received an walkman update via OTA.. i think should be same with Z.

i think ZL will same v Z.. if ZL been dumped, then same with Z.. coz both are using same chipset.. ZL is regional sales.. so its limited stocks and i believe same as Z also.. now they will focus flagship on Z1..

nowadays, technology changes ultra fast.. so no choices..even s4 octa core.

Mybe true they will stop this model.when new flagship,price will drop,so will kill midrange phone.same case for acro s, go etc...

C1M plan are capped at 1.5mbps. normal 3G can go as high as 42mbps.

Other than latency, probably won't differ much if use LTE

Yes ur right,but remember download according to ur devices! If for xz then download xz firmware, if xzl download xzl firmware.
For the root methods it works, but for the latests firmware rooting abit tricky, u should check up the xperia z xda developer forum for more info on that. For me im on .432 firmware, the latest one im not keen in upgrade but when rooting become easy for latest firmware, then I upgrade firmware

how to check which ftf version or model or any code that exactly same as my x zl?

actually i think ZL firmware is based on MALAYSIA but not Singapore.. coz SG dont hv ZL..

cannot check the version through the FTF.. why dont jsut update through SUS and extract ur own ZL firmware FTF..

i have full reset my stock zl, all the stock video, music, photo loss, no point to extract my own zl ftf.

what i want is full version of stock zl ftf.

huh?? do u unlocked bootloader before? and do u flash anything MOD apps before??

u reset ur phone through PCC or SUS or phone setting full reset?

i reset my phone using the backup and reset, i wipe my internel storage.

then u should use PC Companion or Sony Update Service through PC.. to repair your phone software.. then your everything will be stock one and all walkman, album will come back..

my zl bootloader still in locked status .

normally only bootloader unlocked then only cant repair by SUS and PCC.. ur ZL is first hand? or secondhand?
