Kinda bad camera software....

xperia z superior mode like useless, lots of noise when capture in daylight or nightime, but capture in normal mode seems like reduce much noises.

im not sure whether Z and ZL do got any different.. but in ZL i feel its ok and can compare with normal DC.. but just now i had taken some photo with friends with ZL and DSLR D7000.. 13mp vs 16mp.. wait i get softcopy from my friend DSLR first..

depend on what object and background u are taking.. Normal mode for complicated scene.. preset scene mode i think works well too.. normal if group photo then use landscape.. can get better contrast photo quality.. unfortunately i cant direct upload over here due to size of photo here

superior auto mode a little tricky here.. better fix in 1 scene mode if u know which scene.. if scene mode cant serve u well then go for normal and adjust ur settings..

post your bad photo and let us see what are u shooting.. depend on ur judgement.. either u want details or overall good photo.. if details, i think smartphone cant serve u well.. if overall without 100% crop, i think smartphone are ok ady..

May I know what's your setting? I normally have too much noise while in dim area.

Overall colour produced are ok.. all in landscape mode.. but if looks on 100% crop.. significant pixel~

ZL? or QX10/100?

ZL.. where can buy the lens so fast.. at least need wait till me holiday.. now in "jungle".. photo above all just original without edit and uploaded to fb only

I usually tweak the iso n brightness till i think is the best...
But as like u said,if the place is just slight dim then the noise is there even i tried to adjust...
I dont know is normal or not,later go back try to compare with my wife s4...

Well, the funny thing is after snapping its quite clear.

Forget to mention,i said that bcoz i try zoom in the pic after snapping...
I think most probably is related to software/driver for xz camera...
I still think they still can improve the pic quality by updating their software..
Mana tau 4.3 update will hv improvement on camera quality...

erm.. sure can improve again.. but even now if u going to print the photo as hardcopy from 13mp in 4R type, ur photo will still super clear.. unless u print a banner size..

Ya,juz hope sony can fix the problem so i can be a 100% satisfy user..

QX100 if u lucky can get this yr...cos seems worldwide also got stock shortage.
but u need to try it first...i find it abit irritating to use.

hopefully 4.3 will provide some overhaul on some parts also..

getting bored of the xperia UI liao

Guys, I already turned off autoupdate apps in playstore, but once I enable data it will automatically update apps still, make my phone drain battery like mad. Using xperia z ,anyone knows what's happening? tq

iso manually adjusted depending on the backlight

what settings u use for the photos above? looks quite nice
