so far the only ones i know are:

standard (locked/unlocked BL , stock/CM10.x rom)
1. force reboot if phone hang = power button + volume up
2. screenshot = power button + volume down
3. in case of overheating = a tip is to open all ports to let the hot air flow out faster
4. [for stock rom only]activate "myxperia" service under settings (for lost phone. make sure GPS/data/wifi is enabled)
5. [for cm10.x rom]settings -> device administrator -> tick that device admin thing (functions the same but less features compared to myxperia)

rooted
1. xposed mods (first page got link)

others:
1. sync your contact with your gmail acc
2. sync your notes with google keep

got any leak? if its good maybe i will go back.

no news of xperia z going full AOSP?

yea it will be gone and you need to find the way to root for stock rom

was the update successful? try to re-update it. plug in (do the same methods)

dont worry, wont waste time redownloading the whole rom since its already stored on ur C drive somewhere..

got tick wipe data? (make sure u backed up)
but you can try not to wipe first and reflash it with SUS software.

never used pc companion to update my xperia z (when i was on locked bootloader)

now unlocked and running AOSP

actually its fine.. since its msia you always get 50-50 chances after you relock + restore back your TA partitions.
cuz ppl here are abit lazy.

unlike other countries where they check thoroughly. here they (50-50 chance) just do it for you, unless they lick the company's butt.

not only applied to sony lah.. my dell laptop and samsung phone (both actually not supposed to be covered by warranty)

dell = water damage
samsung = flashed AOSP then board died

they still just change, so i guess it all depends on luck + how you treat (socialize) with them?

just be more careful while using it, most of the time your phone wont have issues..

yea. my SOT if fully wifi = 5 hours, posted before but i forgot which thread. v6 or v7.

with data, can last about 2 hours 30 minutes, which is pretty good!

back on stock rom again.

seems to be much smoother on .67

still 1.8k? o.0

i bought back in may = 1.8k

now 5 months later still 1.8..

yea mine was ori back in may.. midland. 1800.

just compare my z and the z1 at the shop ytd..

z1 is just slightly taller, less than 0.5cm

ofcuz camera cannot compare, but the rest functions the same (sofware-wise)

andrewtst , got a page for your complete xposed app setting mods? saw some but seems like not complete, i rmb seeing one which has more screenshots.. i just relock and went back to stock rom.

A new 10.3.1.A.2.74 firmware has been certified on PTCRB site for Xperia Z C6603, nothing updated for Xperia Z C6602 yet, hope to be done soon. Recently a few days back minor 10.3.1.A.2.67 firmware update rolled on Xperia Z both LTE and HSPA+ versions over previous major 10.3.1.A.0.244 firmware update.

10.3.1.A.2.74 firmware is a minor update ( Android 4.2.2 only ) and expected to fix some bugs only nothing new. PTCRB has updated the list on their site on 1st Oct.
