u guys got the point, im using digi, and i expect it may cover the whole malaysia by end of next year and it should be the best timing for me to change phone. lol. since LTE for maxis almost launch 6 months, but only cover a 2 state at the moment if no mistaken.

dont expect digi can expand so fast.. plus LTE maxis launched quite long time ady.. and not only 2 states.. many states but just with certain area..

i tell u.. really meaningless if u got 1gb data, and with LTE speed.. after exceed quota, ur speed still is turtle.. coz there is fair usage policy.. lets say u got unlimited data, with LTE speed, really very enjoyable.. but mostly phone we are using gmail, facebook, youtube, surfing.. H+ average 10mbps vs LTE 25mbps.. its actually quite fast also for 10mbps.. mean 10MB file size u just need 10secs to download it..

so most concern right now is not about LTE or not.. it depend on the phone u like and budget.. either ZL or Z.. as i know, ZL gonna stop production and no more sales soon.. grab it ASAP..

ZL is discontinued by Sony but there are still a lot stocks left in their distributor. So I think there are going to have a fire-sale soon.

temporary what i heard is ZL only.. water dropped to lowest around RM1259 by directd, satugadget. i think seller wish to faster sold out the phone as fast as possible.. Sony centre also dump ZL into RM1399 price tags ady..

but Z still strong, stand at RM1799 still.. i think ZL production is limited so and not really focus by Sony since Z is the first half flagship, quantity should in mass production.. not so fast end yet..

but ZL should be best deal at out there.. compare to S4 mini, mega, HTC mini.. not rrp i mean, but is market seller price..

To me Z is nice n elegant coz is using glass all around n especially white color...
Water resistance is not necessary but is a bonus if u have it...
Not to say u throw it in to a pool but let say if suddenly water pour on the phone?

Good news.. Yes for upgrade Android OS of 4.3 & 4.4 to our Xperia Z and ZL..

Android 4.3 will start rolling from next month onwards.. *finger cross*

Android 4.4 would be the last OS for our 2 phone ady i think..

hopefully it does not stop at 4.4

if we dont receive 5.0 i guess we have no choice but to flash AOSP based to enjoy 5.0 when it comes..

they would have to support at least for the next 2 years...

samsung also supported s2 up to 4.2.2 i think

from 2.3.3 -> 4.x.2

actually there are only support software update for 18months from the time phone release.. but really need depend on sony and see.. phone release on Jan or FEB.. i think next year we only get 4.4.. (12months pass).. we dunno when android 5.0 will come yet..

Hi. Anyone using ZL finding the mic not working? It's too soft, almost like 30% when the other party is listening to you talk. Is there a way to fix this on our own?

not.. hmm.. try go to setting> call settings>equaliser?bright, enable speaker voice enhancement and microphone noise suppression..

Sorry forgot to add: I did that already from other forums. It's not helping. This only came from the last firmware update I think. There's no way to downgrade a phone without rooting right?

nope.. u can always downgrade the phone firmware through flashtool.. as long as u got the ftf..

no need root..

*mine no problem for calling and everything.. but wechat do have ppl complain our voice is low.. but im try not to talk on bottom mic there.. i use the centre to let back mic record it..

Welcome. Actually u can create your own ftf file by yourself in future.. Example, u update your phone through sony update service.. After that use flash tool to decrypt the content in SUS to ftf format.. So in future u can upgrade or downgrade your phone by yourself..

Go google search more about tutorial to create ftf file.. Every guide over there..

Yesterday receive the news by sony, stated that we will going get android 4.3 and 4.4..

Wonder what they will change.. Whether can get z1 home ui, camera launcher?

It also depends on Qualcom whether they want to release the new driver for the processor. Like in the case of XS, Qualcom stop releasing the driver for s3 processor after jb 4.1. So Sony also cannot do anything to further upgrade the firmware

Now we baru on 4.2.2 and haven`t even got 4.3 and sony baru says we will get 4.4 and you imagine 5.0 already. Huh you pretty fast oh.
