*
Oih, cannot discuss watercooling here ooh, when i post something about my watercooling, i didn't realize i was posting it in my air cooling thread, that's why i don't discuss anything about WC in my topic anymore... smile.gif

You want pictures?

ya lor, better get the hr cause u can mount 120mm fan on it biggrin.gif

if ultra-90: 90mm fan = hard to get + noisy compare to 120mm fan blush.gif
*
But still the HR-01 doesn't come with any 120mm fan clips, so if you want to put a 120mm fan on the heatsink, you have to lock the fan using cable ties... smile.gif

Which was hassle and it is difficult to remove as well... i got myself cut when installing the fan...

plan to get Utra-120 from bulk now ....
*
See, that's why i wouldn't recommend HR-01...
Ultra 120 is still the best option smile.gif

yup, the HR didn't came with the fan wire clip, but Thermalright stated that the HR does comes with fan clip (latest version - not in design but in their package) & it can be purchase separately but the thing is that they didn't include the fan wire clip in their accessories list doh.gif ::Link::

that's why i want u to check it out, it'll help a lot for those have limited budget that limits them between HR-01 or Ultra-90 hands.gif if u selling the HR which the package includes fan wire clips icon_idea.gif

but if didn't include, i bet the fan wire clips will cost around rm25, better u add some more to the budget for HR + fan wire clips & get Ultra-120 doh.gif
*
Well, for starters, i don't see any thermalright bulkers bring in that fan wire clip, as a result, it's really hard to get... sweat.gif

And, thermalright says this:
Fan wire clips are now included in all HR-01 packages. If your package doesn't include a set, mostly likely you've purchased an earlier version. If that's the case, please contact your local retailer, or write to sales@thermalright.com

The problem is, many suppliers that have stock for HR-01 is the old stock which doesn't come with the fan wire clips... sweat.gif

So, my bet is, don't buy the HR-01, buy the Ultra 120 lah! laugh.gif

so u bringing in the old package, then for those who looking for HR-01 better consider Ultra-120 (fork out ur money a bit la) if no budget, then Ultra-90 is the answer to ur solution notworthy.gif
*
I don't know either i'm bringing in the old HR-01 or the new HR-01, as the answer is with my supplier...

If they got new stocks of HR-01, then you guys will get those new HR-01 that come the fan clip, and if they don't then that means you're not one of the lucky guy.. laugh.gif

I will ask my supplier bout' this later rolleyes.gif

I wanna know sumthing...I am using Artic Freezer 7 Cooler..My temp is 55 Idle..Thats kinda hot for a cooler like this...Today i lapped my cooler and modded a fan so it can double up the cooling...But..After i mod the fan,the temp is still the same...

My Artic freezer cooler's fan is 2500rpm and the modded fan is..Erm.Duno but fast thent the coolers fan..I think its around 3000+RPM.....See the pic below..
I am fed up with the cooler...Sooner or later i want to buy a new cooler instead of modding this cooler...Any1 knows any better cooler then can cool my CPU temp to 25++???
*
There is no air cooling heatsink can cool you're processor up to 25degrees... laugh.gif

The only way to get there is to buy a high end watercooling kit, not like those gaygaybytes, thermaltake, coolermaster or anything else...

You want to be at 25degrees, get you'reself a Swiftech Watercooling system... laugh.gif

Icic..Ok so whats the best air cooling heatsink in the market for socket 775..
*
Thermalright Ultra 120, Thermaltake BigThyphoon VX, Noctua NH-U12F
This three are the best heatsink for LGA775 in the market...

However, my votes still stand to Thermalright Ultra 120 as it's the best air cooling heatsink i've ever used before i switched to the watercooling kit on my signature icon_rolleyes.gif

Bro, no offence, but, even if you've swithched to the higehst end air cooling heatsink, what you will get is around 5 degrees cooler than you're heatsink now, and the highest would only be 8 - 9 degrees... rolleyes.gif

Who say cannot go down to 25c....

my C2D can cooled down to 22c under aircond room set at 22 degree also with the use of TR HR-01.

Previously my P4 630 downed to 20c with the use of TR Si-120 at 22c ambient  temperature....
*
Aiyoh, we here are talking about using air cooling heatsink without the help of air conditioner la bro.... sweat.gif

Don't say about air conditioner loh, if using air conditioner, my Pentium D can go lower than 25degrees woh... laugh.gif

That's why i'm not talking about air conditioner liao...

We rely on room temperature without air conditioner... rolleyes.gif

Both of you, you're details has been updated, check the first page to look at it. icon_rolleyes.gif

My komputer, mind to tell me what kind of motherboard are you using with you're Pentium 4 3.0E?

As for me, i've able to get 4GHz for the same processor when i'm still in socket 478 era, using Gigabyte G-Power Pro at 44celcius in idle, and 50degrees on full load. thumbup.gif

Tell me what type of motherboard are u using to overclock that processor.

I'm using Asrock P4i65G. Try to get higher speed. but hang at windows. Maybe the memory i'm using not suitable.
*
Maybe you're motherboard is not meant for high overclocking, as in the earlier time when i was using the same processor as yours, i'm using P4C800 - E - Deluxe with kingston ram [cap ayam kingston chips, not those high end chips like dt-43, BH-5 or other high end chipset] and i even able to overclock to 4GHz without a problem smile.gif

I think it's the mainboard la bro...

Just my opinion though. icon_rolleyes.gif

Many ppl have a thought like this , until they got a silent cooler ... once u go quiet, u will never look back to those noisy cooler. In my experience, I have used Volcano 7+ before , with high speed 5000RPM+  shocking.gif and now, I prefer silence over a few temp different, we use our pc to enjoy not to suffer, what for torture our ear with unnecessary
noise  laugh.gif
*
Yes, you are right...
Once you've fallen into the realm of silence, you shall never come back to the noisy world!!! laugh.gif

Just like me lor..
In the earlier days when i was okay with the noise of 46Db that came from my Hyper 6+ running at full speed, it's very noisy...

Then, when i've fallen into the darkside of silence rig, it's like... wub.gif

owh, i'm so in love with silence setup... wub.gif

aiks u shud have heared my 1900XTX in action.
gosh, its like a hairdryer that was sucking in somebody's hair.

the newer hsf minimizes the noise i guess.
rite now, im also trying to find a way to push in more air flow into the case as the inflow of air into the case is very restirctive and i think its gonna kill something ral soon  rclxub.gif
*
Why meh?
Too noisy? shocking.gif

Hmm, i was about to buy two X1950XTX later, but seeing the way you've said it, there's no way i'm going for a card that comes with a noisy stock heatsink... sweat.gif

Heck, i don't even think i can use dual HR-03 on my motherboard, [if i were to go crossfire again laugh.gif ]

Guys, would you prefer going for two X1950XTX or go for one 8800GTX?
Advise me... notworthy.gif

True, coz the only shop at LYP that sells thermalrights product is Overclocking Paradise, and their shop is closed for some modification on the shop itself...

Don't know how long will it take until the shop will be opened back. sweat.gif

Well error, if u want it, u can always get it from me from a thermalrighs products bulk order... thumbup.gif

Yes, the cooler the hardwares, the longer you're hardwares will live.
It's like human also lor, can you live in a hot place for a very long time without any cooling method?

No right? smile.gif

Hi guys,
i'm new to this thread..
z3r0717- P4 HT @ 3.45Ghz
CoolerMaster Hyper 6+
Idle 44°C
Load °C          (this means when u play games rite?)
Erm....
*
Load temps are not found by playing games...
Load temps are found by making the processor run at 100% full resources...

One way to find it out is by running SP2004 smile.gif
