Updates!!
2 days after my Swittech watercooling loop is done, the temps dropped more - 2 degrees cooler... Arctic Silver 5 is applied between the processor and the waterblock... That's just 2 days man!!! Can't wait until the 200hours sink in time to complete... So the temperature now is 28degrees on idle!!! This post has been edited by sHawTY: Dec 29 2006, 07:05 PM |

QUOTE(ciohbu @ Dec 30 2006, 12:50 AM) wat u mean by need a gud power supply?...if i change the three pin to normal molex..will it solve the problem? The fan speed has no connection with psu, that guy just brag...The fan speed lowers down because the motherboard set it to run at lower speed... TT Beetle? I doubt the performance... Go get you'reself a TT Bigthyphoon VX instead, it's much much better... |

Those Thermalright Heatsinks are still the best, you can always choose the fan to you're liking... This post has been edited by sHawTY: Jan 1 2007, 01:33 PM |

Only those thermalright heatsinks [XP90C & XP120] doesn't come with any fan, but the BigThyphoon does come with a Fan... You can't find any Thermalright heatsinks at LYP, it's not in Malaysian Market, but, if you need one, i have an XP120... **Psst, you'll receive a PM later on... |

As i've said earlier, you're motherboard processor retention bracket is too near with the PSU compartment...
You're going to have some trouble to find a 3rd party heatsink to be fitted in you're pc... The best i could think of is a Thermalright XP90C, but it's kinda hard to find nowadays... |

QUOTE(jchou87 @ Jan 1 2007, 04:00 PM) I think i have 2 problem; Changing a casing need more money, my advise is change you're motherboard, coz it's a very cap ayam motherboard, no, seriously, don't get offended, coz this is the truth. It's not even using any intel chipset... first do i need to change my casing if i want to use the bigger hsf and secondly i need to find a good hsf that fits my mobo and casing...please help me Find any motherboard that uses Intel 865PE chipset, the best i could think of for you is an ASUS P4P800-X... Not too low, not too high, adequate for you're need... This is why i'm telling you to change the motherboard: ![]() Look at that picture, can you identify what i'm going to explain to you? Compare you're motherboard, with that ASUS P4P800-X, the P4P800-X processor heatsink retention is far from the side of PSU compartment, so you won't have any problem fitting any heatsink on that motherboard, while you're motherboard here: ![]() The heatsink retention module is very near to the PSU Compartment, and this is a very big problem to you to find a good 3rd party heatsink as 3rd party heatsink is always large & wide... QUOTE(irangan @ Jan 2 2007, 07:06 PM) if performance sense, i do think CM Hyper 6+ will perform better but its weight is abit heavy Perform Better?if u are tight on budget, why not get a Gigabyte G-Power ML ver? RM160 and its performance is reasonable enough. OR get a Scythe Infinity at RM185 from bulk area. No, i won't support that, seriously... Hyper 6+ has many cons rather than pros The Cons for Hyper 6+: Too Big! Too Heavy! Hard To Install! Too Noisy! My Thermalright XP120 [Non Lapped] works much much better than the Hyper 6+ even when i'm using the XP120 with a 1800RPm 120MM fan. In the other words, it's works much much better and more silence... And the G-Power Pro also can win over the Hyper 6+ even when the G-Power Pro is set fan is set at medium speed... So CM Hyper 6+ is a no no |
