Got some silly question here... Isn't there any mini air conditioner that can be fit into those 5.25inch drive bay? It's a good tools to make the inner of the pc cools... Plus it's a good tool to make those air heatsink to works better.. Thinking of asking my brother to build one as he is an electornic engineer... Ask him to cooperate with his friend to be together to build that thing...

its more on mechanical la. you need compressor, freon, radiators blah2 and most of the item takes place. even the piping requires through sealing or condensation of water will occur and zap the parts.
i was waiting for someone to do pelt air cooling. no one?

Crazy man. But the site goes on to tell that its really not practical cos the dampening you have to put in. Imagine your fridge sound/ air con outdoor unit sound. Or you could do something crazy like pipe it to an outdoor unit like split air con... hehe Just stay away from Pentium D 830 *sob*. Those Procs with Thermal Rating 130W are the hottest ones...

Most guys here all AMD kaki, time to build an AMD rig after so long loyal to Intel... Shawty: http://www.overclockers.com/tips1032/on aircon cooling "How-To Build A Refrigerator CPU Cooler"

I know about this cooling system already... It's using the technology of a refrigerator... I don't wanna use this one, what i want is an air conditioner, the one that could fits into 2 @ 3 5.25 drive bay... I want it to blow those cool air to all the parts in the system... While the cooling system that u just show me only cools the processor...

QUOTE(vey99 @ Jun 27 2006, 05:10 PM) PC Modding was selling this before IIRC. My opinion is the performance is not really impressive.... QUOTE(davidletterboyz @ Jun 27 2006, 05:18 PM) Condensation. PC Modding was selling this before IIRC. My opinion is the performance is not really impressive.... Ya . . When I switch on my aircon my temps drop by 6 - 8 C. But my tenaga bill .. aaargh... Still apparently it takes up 3x 5.25 drive bays in height, and the highest setting ("snow") is apparently quite noisy. Prolly switch it to "snow" mode when doing overnight encodes...

it's impossible, but it's not practical to do so.
considering the power consumption, you can have your CPU, GPU hooked up and overclocked to extreme speed de.
lowering the ambient temperature does not help as much as concentrating so much cooling on a single source of heat
