Hi Guys,

Planning to start trading back, previously I am with Instaforex and recently I see the spread getting lesser which is good. any comments for Instaforex stability and trustworthiness now? or should i register using another different broker/platform?

other than that, are there any gold traders here? do you think it will bounce back to the glory days of 1800++ or there will be a decline to below 1200--

appreciate if you can share your point of views and logic to it.

I got some problem with my broker, i "lost" 200 pips because of the broker. So, i was long GBPAUD just now at the candle stick labeled with 3 red arrow, my broker give me a price that is 100 pips higher than the price when i place the order. Basically, i start the trade with -100 pips.

user posted image

I was place my order when the price is 1.70127 (Line 1) but the broker put the green line on 1.70223 (Line 2) which is at least 100 pips higher than Line 1. The candle stick had not reach Line 2 that time and is far from that line.

When the price go up around 200 pips until 1.70317 (Line 3), that time my profit was around 100 pips so i want to close my order but the broker did not allow me to do so, i keep on trying to close but without success.

Having failed to close the order, i was trying to move the SL up to Line 2 (price that given by broker) hope that i can minimized the loss, i failed too, broker did not allow me to move the SL. This time the profit is drop to 70 pips.

Then i keep closing the order, failed too. Until the profit drop to -15 pips, this time finally i was allow to close my order.

Instead of earn 200 pips now i become lost 15 pips. Have anyone of you experienced this problem?

I got one question, if let's say I place an pending order to sell at 1.3100, the current price is 1.3200, then after then weekend, the market open at 1.3000, so there is a 200 pips gap between market closed and opened.

What I want to know is will my pending order triggered at 1.3200?

Just talking from my noob 6 years experience with 4 different broker. No, your order will not be execute untill the price touch pending order + spread (SELL) OR - spread (BUY) orders.

the robot keep on doing its great job 24/5. Big NFP news, no news, anytime no problemo. I know it is not the best but good enough for me. need to tweak a bit the codes. rclxms.gif

This is CFD (OIL/USD) 25 days with USD 1k ~ about 33% profit. few days to come. hope fully can achieve 40% pure profit / month
