May I know how much did the Tag service center charged you for changing the crown and normal maintenance? I am about to send in my Formula 1 Quartz for the first time in 10 years..
*
my wife's one was ok, just normal battery change and maintenance, RM120
15mins for initial checkup and 1 hour for the battery change as they do pressure test and also clean the watch for you

i think those older watches are more durable...

this is why i think this service center might not have professional watchmakers... maybe you can try singapore... i planned to do that for my watch's service in future... don't seem to trust the local one doh.gif

A battery change in sg cost ~sgd$30-50
A overhaul to clean etc cost sgd$100-200 more

Among the models hat you had listed in your message above, only wan2110 had caught my attention and it looks more like a rolex sub( thats priced around 23k), right ?

Though any idea whats the retail price ? I wouldnt spend 20k on a watch at the moment lol.

Btw, i was talking to a few friends regarding watches and they had advised me to stay away from Tag due to some crown problem. Is it true that mostly all Tag's face this issue ?

Ceramic bracelet, once scratch cannot be polished, those watches are the aquaracer range, and WAN2110 looks like a Rolex Submariner  brows.gif  brows.gif

yes it does... my relative is having the older WAB serious... looks ok so i got myself a WAP instead since it matches with my wife's laugh.gif

WAN2110 is selling at AD for RM6.8k, discount wise, read a few pages back, depends on your nego skills brows.gif

i read about the crown issues in WUS more on the WAK and WAJ series (500m), so far the WAP/WAN seems ok... all of them are using the same movement...

It's more like it can't decide if its a seamaster bond or a submariner

Have a look at the Oris Aquis if you like the more burly look or the Longines Hydroconquest if you like more shiny stuff.
