And also the race to be the first to produce/create an automatic chronograph in 1969.
The contestants were Zenith, Seiko and Heuer/Hamilton/Breitling.

with all these research... its becoming "i want" rather than her laugh.gif

she likes unique stuff, not something that everyone has... and of course, it has to be brand new sweat.gif

RM13k+ i can get a ladies AT8250... or maybe an Air-King... but i'm looking at something extraordinary... therefore comes in brands like Panerai and JLC

anyway, still open to suggestions laugh.gif

just did some reading on COSC... interesting... GS is even stricter brows.gif

anyway, mine's on my wrist 10 hours a day and crown up for the rest of the hours... maybe that's why its not going way off laugh.gif
*
COSC is just a marketing gimmick, with extra cost incurred. IMHO
FYI, IWC and PP etc doesn't need COSC, they have their own standard.

sorry bro, couldn't find it in V7... maybe the previous threads... what's service center standard? means no standard?
*
COSC is tested before the movement being cased.
After service, the service center won't send it again for COSC certification, hence the service center standard.

what about those in-house chronometer standards like JLC, Rolex, etc?

will they retain the factory standard after servicing?
*
For sure,
QUOTE
Chronometers are watches whose accuracy has been confirmed by a COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres) testing centre. IWC adjusts its watches using its own in-house criteria. IWC, for example, does not tolerate a watch running slow, which is permissible in a chronometer test. Apart from this, the owner’s habits and lifestyle play a not unimportant role for a watch’s accuracy. Automatic movements behave differently with wearers who are physically very active than with people who lead quieter lives. Any divergence from the tolerances mentioned is not so much a question of function but is primarily one of adjustment and wearing habits.

I'm very sad - some of you may know that I've recently bought a Tag Aquaracer Calibre 16. Since then I've been monitoring its accuracy and discovered that the watch is gaining 15 secs everyday! By standard it's suppose to be +6/-4, this is more than double sad.gif

And today, when I was trying to adjust the date, I notice that the date wouldn't change, can feel something stuck when turning the crown on date-adjustment mode.

Sigh, heart breaking sad.gif looks like I'll have to find time to head to Central Plaza 34 tomorrow........

p/s: forgive me, just wanna rant sad.gif
*
Did you tried to change the date between 9pm to 3am?

Tag COSCs are usually around the upper end Carreras, Grand Carreras and Monacos...

and like what sniper kor mentioned... its ALWAYS stated on the dial...

The restricted hours for date change is generally between 8pm to 4am for most auto watches... give or take 1 hour...

Need to ask some sifu around here.

i recently made an online purchase for a watch and I have the confirmation of purchase. The only thing is that no payment was made as they will inform me of payment method at a later date.

after all this, i got another email stating that they have made a mistake and cannot proceed with the sale of the watch at the said price. I was wondering what rights do i have on this and can i enforce the sale. they also claimed that they noticed the mistake within seconds and made the correction but i am sure that they only discover it when i made the order. thanks
*
I don't think you can do anything about it. Do you have print screen? Which law and jurisdiction you want to enforce it?
What watch and which website by the way.
