I thought Panny bought Rolex movements so they can play lego in Italy, that was, until Rolex stopped selling it to them.

Panerai was approached by Italy navy to produce underwater watches.
Without the technology know how, Panerai outsourced the task to Rolex. (the crown crown was original designed by Panerai though)
Anyway, the vintage Panerai were not using Rolex movement, the movement was Angelus instead.

I'm looking for a lady's watch. a very simple watch,  not too-girlish. preferably black leather strap. Abit elegant+casual. most important for a very small arm. maybe around 1.5-2inch

and yah, budget is very limited. max around RM600 only sweat.gif sweat.gif

maybe something like this?

I got a friend who wants to sell his mark 16 (not the same link uve provided)  but is priced at RM13,500 but i will try to nego more (maybe buy the watch only minus the bracelet since the bracelet itself costed rm4k)

Yeah,so far i can't find a black bay within my budget range.

Im looking for a quality watch which can serve me for years. My preference would be something like;

Tudor blue heritage, nomos, iwc portofino, maurice lacroix pontos s chrono, longines master collection, fortis flieger daydate b-42, rolex submariner (of course), tag heuer heritage calibre 16.

Anything that is with white dial n blue hands.

Do you where i can get the cheapest watch just like longines master collection; perpetual triple day date with moonphase?

i do agree with you on this... fakes aside... i think Panerai too has quite a fair bit of homages around laugh.gif

but then, with USD10k... i'll be seriously considering JLC MUTs and of course some PAMs!
Arghhhh... i'm still very interested in those newer base models like 510 and 512 icon_question.gif

USD10k ? I'll go for AP RO 15400 tongue.gif

Hmm, the El Primero 36000vph 38mm for me. Not the Striking 10th.
I doubt anybody would argue against the El Primero movement.

Even the original one in 1969 A386 also had the overlapping sub dials. I guess meat for some, poison for others.

Original A386 on left, no legibility issue as opposed to the modern reissue on the right.
