My side window is tinted 2 layers (2+4 mil). The glass broke, but not enough for the crooks to put their hands in, so they sped off. Now I have to pay for the tint again sad.gif

Wow..2 layers. I heard one layer is better than 2 layers.. eg 6mil tint stronger than 2+4 mil

Fog lamp switch. At the lights switch. Turn front once... front fog lamp..turn front again..back fog lamp on. Turn opposite direction to switch off

Contacted my Peugeot dealer n told him. He didn't understand the absence of the glove box air con vent valve.
He said his unit in showroom did not have the valve too. Need to convince him that its supposed to be there but its missing.
Other than that things are great with the 208. Testing fuel consumption now.
*
Is it something to do with new stock ? Mine has a valve...rotate to open/close. I leave it to min opening...cools down my sunnies inside..

not sure is it a problem or not. 208 gearbox is sometimes quite Jerky especially when is in sports mode.
when i'm on highway (with sports mode on) and when the time i reach Tol (need to slow down, thus i have to brake)
you will feel the whole car like jerky (chok har chok har* in cantonese)

maybe this is due to the high ratio of the gear, that's why you'll feel jerky whenever the car lowered the gear
*
Yup..you just answered..if slow traffic...sports mode will make the drive a lil rougher.

Just tested 208 today. The fan noise beats a lorry, I never thought it could be this loud. However, if the a/c is cold, then its worth it.

Just got a few questions.

I drove it around 80kmh and find that the suspension is stiff (or was the tyres over inflated?). When going over uneven road, can hear kuluk kuluk sound. Same on yours?

Secondly, noticed that the engine rev much higher before upshifting. I dont see sport mode on the auto mode selection. Pretty sure its just D. Whats your fc like?
*
I guess tyres over inflated. Mine was over inflated 260>..Damn hard tyres Hahah. Sports mode is a little button beside the "P" symbol. Fc is not as good as jap cars generally.

Third week using my car. I switch to Petronas as per recommended by my friend. The fc become 10km to 11km/l... Fan noise is loud only when the
car is stationary with Aircon turn on.

Overall satisfy with the car. Anyone know where to get the ori rear spoiler?
*
Petronas engine oil will give better FC compare to fully synth Total ?
