Hello, as the topic has already mentioned,

this topic is open to all Peugeot 208 owner, as i'm also one of it.
I'm currently driving a 3 doors 208, red colour.

btw i have a doubt regarding the signal side there,
there is button which you can press on the signal (left side) and wiper side (right ).

when you press the right side button, is to change the screen displayed near the meter gauge as well as the LCD screen,

but, how about the signal side button? is it i'm the only one who found this?

the picture above is just for highlighting purposes, not own by me and it's not the Malaysia version of 208

Well, any other who have questions about 208, please do not hesitate to comment biggrin.gif

This is a beautiful car that i'm tempted to get also.
But i do have doubts, so if you don't mind, can you answer some of these question?
- How is the car so far?
- How long have you been driving it? How is the fc?
- Can you give us a review?

Since this is an owner thread, i guess answering these would benefit everyone.

Thanks.

sure do !

I've been driving the car for like 3 months biggrin.gif yesterday was exactly 3 months old,
went for my first inspection on last month.
3k mileage currently.

Q : How is the car so far?
A : So far so good. But the glove compartment is too small, can't even fit the service book ._. and an extra button found on the signal there which do nothing. (I guess is for design purpose)

Q : how long have you been driving it ? How is the fc?
A : Drove it like 3 months biggrin.gif everything seems okay to me.
Regarding Fuel consumption, i always pump full (shell 95) and manage to travel only 250km to 300km.
but there are people who can travel 300 - 400km with full tank (it depends on how you use)
I've tried come and back from KL (oug) to LCCT with full tank + sports mode, and at the end i manage to travel around 500+km

I'm a student, so i drive almost every weekdays from my house to uni (around 15 - 20 KM)
sometimes night go out yum cha, or once in a while go makan, watch movie, etc.
took me like every 5 to 7 days then i will need to pump once.

so conclusion FC is depends on how you drive (with sports mode or w/o sports mode)

Q : Can you give us a Review?
A : I'm planning to do a video regarding my hot and sexy 208 after i finish my exam tongue.gif

there are a few things i like the most :
1.

user posted image

the blue colour lighting at the side of the roof top

2.

user posted image

the white colour head light biggrin.gif

besides that, i will roughly list out the features that i remember :
- small steering wheel
- LCD touch screen
- comes with sports mode and winter mode
- welcome light
- sport rim

Extra info :

- I have try speed 190km/h while i'm on my way to LCCT and the whole car is quite bumpy

Hows the engine power? When I test drove the car, I felt like the engine was really struggling even at city speeds, and the car felt out of breath with the engine noise/rev intruding the cabin..

300-400km for a full tank is kinda bad... considering this has a 50litre fuel tank.
My saga blm can get this range with only 40litre fuel tank.

Owner here, or rather, my wife is an owner. Bought it for my wife. Just got the car 2 days ago. Waited 3 months for it.

Anyway, the left button on the turn signal does nothing on mine too. I asked the SA and he said the same thing.

A little worried about the FC though. I drove for slightly over 100km and have slightly over half tank remaining. Didn't really rev it that much. Just slight taps to let it move. I'm still on my first tank of fuel.

practically wont be any promo for 208 so soon bro, car still new in the market, plus ppl were waiting like the pregnant till give birth feel now. lol.....but not sure why i got kinda few stock in hand tongue.gif

comparing rio there's a thread u went in to at F&F section. So, u might need to let us know whats ur main preferences comparing these 2 cars. Otherwise i would said 208 gets the overall vote in terms of power, safety, quality, stability, interior + exterior. anymore ? biggrin.gif

thats really facing at the high fc side abit, but i'm pretty sure the FC will get much more better after first service.

logically every new cars definitely need a "run-in" time, eventhough some ppl might said now all these new cars dont need a "run-in" period as it already become advanced or whatever.....but an engine is still an engine, running on oil based.
