QUOTE(266K @ Apr 3 2015, 02:38 PM) Battery was not charging properly. It's a 'common' defect for the Nexus 7. It took me forever to charge my battery. Sometimes I plug in the battery still does not charge. Sometimes I turn off, plug it in, it still does not charge.Maybe yours is not battery problem. Try what I did. Install Battery Monitor Widget and monitor charging levels (mA) when it is plugged in. Before changing the USB, the value is -ve even when plugged in; after changing, the value is about 1000 mA when plugged in. For more information: https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=71939500 PS: You'd still need to purchase the new USB. This post has been edited by wonger: Apr 3 2015, 03:02 PM |

I just updated mine to 5.1.1 OTA.
Feels smoother and more stable. Still lags when launching apps and performing tasks though. I guess new compiler does not work well with Tegra 3. Wifi is still a sore point as well. I guess it's the end of the road for my beloved Nexus 7. |
