Iirc, last time it was selling at RM200.

The dock is just for docking it while charging. That's it. no extra USB slot or wad. a bit not worth it imho. haha

I haven't seen or try the dock in real life before. So can't really comment if it docks nicely and wont wobble around.

maybe u can consider about customizing it? Something like this.



But I think it'll be costly, and have to send to those car customization shop if ur not a DIY guy.

any1 here rooted, on stock rom 4.4.2 and tried flashing the wifi tether mod with twrp?

I tried flashing, but after flashing, it gets stuck at the 4 circle animation, bootloop right?

edited, using the KOT49H_Revert i can restore back. Now trying to flash again the mod to see if it'll work.

edit again, this time first time flash not successfull, 2nd time flash successful, this time i wipe dalvik too. then reboot. can dy!

lol, bad news, when i tap portable wifi hotspot, it grey-ed out and just below it is written error.

went thru everything to flash the mod, after successfully flashing, error.

After reboot oso no respond? Sometimes my Nexus 7 got ghost touch issue too. I didn't touch any part of the screen, but it has ghost touch touching certain part of the screen.

If ur problem still persist after reboot, I think can send to Asus Service Center.

I only use the Nexus Root Toolkit to root, I never use it for flashing, coz I tried flashing the wifi tethering mod, it soft bricked my device. So i use custom recovery to flash.

if urs is not rooted, juz install the ota update.

if rooted and u wanna flash it manually, I think can't. u can check is it possible from here.

Just check out is there a zip flash from ur current version to the latest version 4.4.3 (KTU84L)

I think u nid to flash KOT49H (4.4.2) from JWR66Y (4.3). Then flash KTU84L (4.4.3) from KOT49H (4.4.2).

do note that u will lose ur root. but just updated Wugfresh Nexus Root Kit. Now trying to root it.

Juz rooted my Nexus 7c using wugfresh NRT. Now rooted, my ahem stickmount can be used again.

If ur asking for the 2012 version, I think EOL dy. If ur asking for the 2013 version, maybe u can try the shop 'hotspot' in lowyat plaza.

My N7 was running on 4.4.3 rooted. Just saw the notification for software update. I thot sure cannot wan la, since rooted liao. But I click it anyway. surprisingly it auto use my twrp to update my rooted 4.4.3 to 4.4.4. really surprise.

But then I check. Running on 4.4.4 but I lose root dy.

any errors while it was updating via custom recovery? or maybe u didn't install custom recovery, so fail to install?

I juz rooted mine with wugfresh nexus root kit.

my wifi ok je. House using TP-link modem, can detect it from outside my house and connect it. even from my laptop's connectify, I think it's doing well.

maybe master reset? not sure....

or maybe turn off ur modem, wait for a while, turn it back on.
