Hey guys, I've never smoked tobacco with a smoking pipe, and I would like to start with a corn cob pipe. Do all of you know where can I find a cheap corn cob pipe here in Penang Island?
I've seen kamelah's website and they sell kinda expensive smoking pipe, definitely not what I wanna start with. I would also like to know what tobacco can I start with, because I have No any knowledge about smoking a tobacco with pipe. TQ for replies. |

Anyone got any idea what brand i should try next? And where can i buy it? I'm a fan of original flavoured tobacco. I have tried Macbaren, Harvest, Drum and i'm bored of it. Any recommendations? Budget under myr 26. For tobacco only.Desperate for a change here guys. I live around PJ.
P.s I'm a level 4.5 roller i guess, because i can roll while walking? But with two hands? Or is it still 4? I'D LIKE TO THINK MYSELF AS A GOOD ROLLER HAHAHA. |

I live around PJ. macbarren is not as good as it used to be. harvest, only a few flavours that tasted good. drum just taste weird(some suggest drying in out in the sun before using). try golden virginia, much better than any of those mentioned. yellow one is mellower, the green one is stronger.P.s I'm a level 4.5 roller i guess, because i can roll while walking? QUOTE(longamwai @ Apr 21 2014, 09:16 AM) RAW? You can get it in Embershoppe the Curve. Or Kamelah Tobacco house in 1 utama. If not just find your nearest tobacconist. If all else fails, go KK get GIZEH papers. It's good slow burning but not hemp paper tho.. |

Didn't know this forum had a thread for tobaccos.
RYO smoker here. Mostly Halfzware Shag, though I switch every now and then, and sometimes blend my own from a few different brands. Current favourite blend; 2 parts Drum (or the old Mac Baren Halfzware Choice) 1 part Drum Bright Blue 1 part Mac Baren Vanilla Choice Might seem like an odd blend, but the flavours really do complement each other quite well. Slightly sweet thanks to the Vanilla Choice, slightly dark thanks to the Kentucky with some nuttiness from the Drum Bright Blue. Usually mix them up (gently separate and fold) and store them in a pipe tobacco tin or mason jar along with a few moist filter tips. For best results I sometimes freeze the Bison (in ziplock bag) for a couple of hours and then let it dry out under the sun before mixing with the other tobaccos. Favourite Papers: OCB Premium, Elements, Smoking Blue, Rizla Silver Favourite Filters: Gizeh Charcoal, OCB Unbleached Eco Slim This post has been edited by G-17: Jun 1 2014, 03:28 PM |

hey guys any good brands and flavors for tobacco? i tried mac baren apple and grape flavor. Another mac baren flavor i think is the original (yellow packaging). I tried it and it stings my tongue. Harvest brand it hurts my throat not sure because i never put filter and just smoke it like that. But after friend intro me Mac Baren I quite like it. Sadly, not many friends here in KL that smokes. Living with parents so it is a waste if buy the tobacco. Now i go to the shop @ The Curve's Embershoppe buy the ready rolled cigs. RM5. That time was like 1 or 2 years ago. Now not sure the price increased. Tmr will go and check it out

@Da Great
There used to be a tobacco shop at Queensbay Mall, but the last time I went to Penang was some years ago, so not sure if it's still open or not. @Pepper Whenever I visit the tobacco store in Johor Bahru town (I live in Singapore) I see packs of Bison 50g. Not sure about other states. Roughly $RM 11+, if I remember correctly. @tzai86 Depends on what flavour you're looking for. Unless it's labeled "Pure Tobacco" or "Additive Free Tobacco" on the pouch, all blends have some sort of flavour or another. Even Halfzware blends (Drum, Bison, etc) are technically considered flavours. If you're talking about the sweet types of flavours, then Mac Baren is the most common in Malaysia, I think. There's also this brand called Black Devil, which has a few blends. I quite like their "Special Flavour" and "Smooth Flavour" blends, but those aren't that common. They also have a "Coconut Milk" flavour which is more common (in Johor, you can even buy it at Tesco) but doesn't taste as good. |
