you can join any of the Elemental server, or you have to find time like 3am-7am in the mornign to create character there.

So I just learnt that choosing singapore as your country puts you in The Americas. Now I am stuck and probably have to make a new account.... SO I should be choosing an EU country instead?

up to you~ EU is just cheaper in subscription. both are easy to get now that you can buy easily from Square Enix's Web Store for future expansion (digitally) thou both are now much harder to get physical box expansion.

I have registered a new account. There is no Malaysia to choose so I chosen Singapore. In region it is assigned to The Americas, does this mean my account is NA, can I play EU? since EU is recommended

Your account is NA, yes, you can play any server, majority are using EU account play in JP servers

I see, I recreated an EU account. The registration was a lil confusing. I realize I can play all the servers with EU account, which means account region is only for purpose of ease payment

i want to try this game. i believe most of malaysian player at thonbery server. when i try to create character, its say i cant create character at that world. if i create at other server, can i change it later?

edit: nevermind, im already at tonberry server. looks like its open if i create character at not congested time
