Yup! Really disappointing on Sony move!

See below photo, it is damn obvious the screen panel is not possible same type panel use in Z Ultra.

And also here the screen capture from the video comparison of Z1 v/s G2 v/s Note 3. As you can seen it is badly washout! OMG! This definitely not the quality of Z Ultra panel!

Sony didn't actually say what panel type they are using. I doubt they are using other than TN panel

Why does Sony always screw up when it comes to the screen?

This picture looks pretty bad. Nothing is perfect I guess. lol

and don't forget about the camera software

You go see AMOLED, I can sure your eye is uncomfortable after long time used. But SONY won't

AMOLED color is too vivid, it really uncomfortable if u compare to other screen panel.

No wonder some reviews I read say Z1 display is only slightly better than Z but none give a as good as Z Ultra. looks like Triluminos and X-Reality does not equal viewing angle! what a disappointment from Sony!

super amoled confirm cant used in a water resistant phone..

but just wonder and feel it really cant compete with ZU screen display.. personally had go try and test the ZU demo unit.. which found the screen really improved a lot.. but from all youtube video saw the Z1, im feel slightly same as ZL like that only..

this site show that ZU and Z1 both got same battery and why ZU with large screen can last longer a bit than Z1 that small screen?

so far ZU good with large screen and better view angle while Z1 good with flash, camera button, software and bigger speaker right?

Then for Z vs Z1, is that anything Z better than Z1?

if Z better than Z1 then why sony release Z1? IMO, Z1 is better than Z in processor,gpu,screen and battery
