Hey guys, since Amber already officially released, can I opt to update via computer/laptop instead of WiFi?

It seems that after Amber update, the fb message actually improve and I can get the fb message around 75% of the time

Of course when I got happy and want to report here, it always stopped functioning properly

It's already like that even before portico update LOL. The songs in your ringtones folder, if they appear in your ringtones in settings, they will also appear in alarm tones for you to choose.

Mine still cant connect to FB properly, sometimes can sometimes cannot. But i stopped caring about it long ago because i dont chat on a phone. It's just not something i do with a phone usually, not comfortable chatting a lot by relying on touch screen keyboard.

In my case fb chat worked like 100%, when im on my laptop and someone msged me the phone instantly rang

but what i replied through the laptop the phone didnt display it, only display sender msg. is it only me or you guys also the same?

same here, any msg that post out via fb apps or browser somehow wont appear in phone msg

the facebook chat on messaging apps is frustrating. sometimes receive sometimes not. we need a true multi-tasking features for WP.

Too much loading even on unifi? That's so odd. I usually can even load FB app on 2G, just have to wait a little longer. 3G works darn fast for me. As for FB chat, I don't bother to use the one under messaging anymore. Instead I just open FB app, go to inbox, pin it to start, then use that one instead.

The message notification on the FB App is horribad, though.

Yeah....the notifications are always few weeks old

I dun really use messaging app to chat on fb, I usually do it on laptop. But it would be nice if I can get the message/notification on time if any of my friends contact me on fb with some important stuffs

But it seems this notification problem is always there ever since Window Phone 7, so I don't see it being fixed soon. Funny thing is, none of the reviews mention this issues iirc

hahaha, even the "find my phone" seems to be bit slow and I will only get where my phone is located when I sleep (I requested to locate my phone in the afternoon)

my battery keep fooling me around.. i've charged over a day and still at 44%.. and after reboot it came 100%..

u didnt enable battery meter as background services?

i think allowed the background task.. correct me if im wrong..

30secs/1Mb or less. If those tones appear in your ringtones, they also appear in your alarm tones, u can just choose.

u need to chop your music to 30sec

u can use ringtone maker apps

Nokia Ringtone Maker now can chop out 1 minute ringtone from music.

I mean to select music from sea of songs in media player and having the option to ' set as ringtone/etc ' instead chopping or transferring files to custom folders which is quite unreasonable. and it's a limitation

most important is the static ip, without static IP the phone is worthless in 60% of the corporate industry

ps: looking for music in apps is even more headache without the category and sorts
