but when i downloaded and install the nokia suite but it doesnt appear on my laptop.why is it?can you help me

try check your start > nokia ..it should appear something like "NSU for retail"

open it

then connect your phone to usb cable(which connected to your pc) ..then boot up your device

let NSU detect your phone model (if cant detect then try+hold volume down + power button for 15sec ..let it auto restart ..it should able to detect after phone restarted)

then it should prompt what is your lumia model and latest firmware

press "erase" or update

then it will automatic download ROM ..and flash into your phone

I just bought a Lumia 920 Red an having the following question:

The Zitron warranty sticker and a SKMM sticker is sticking at the back of the lumia (spoiling the beauty)

I'd like to have a naked lumia, maybe only a front back transparent protector but now that 2 stupid stickers destroy the beauty.

Is it true that the warranty will void if i peal off the zitron sticker or they can use IMEI to check my warranty?

Also, I didn't buy with SKMM but why the heck is there SKMM sticker there? Am i shortchanged by the seller? Did the seller use other ppl's IC to get SKMM rebate and sell it for profit at the expense of the government?

Can I peal off the SKMM sticker? (it does have sirim wording also) BTW what sirim sticker does other than QC by government?

Hi guys, I wanted to ask. Is your 920 still have dust at the front facing camera? Mine starting to collect a lot of dust. So far my 920 always activated with apps when I put it in my side pocket and I'm not sure is it because I used the "Double Tap to wake" function or is the dust that accumulated on the front facing camera that affects the screen.

I just sent for cleaning, it take only 3 hours then can collect it back already, i think it depend on how busy the engineer is

hi guys, im looking to buy a lumia 920 soon, and I heard ppl say 920 got a lot of problem, especially the first batch..
is it true? any experience it before? I can also see customer bashing nokia at their fb page for 920 problem
need advice..

First batch have issues with the heat. It can heat up so fast it can bake the CPU. Mine has that which can only be solved by switching off the phone for 5-10 minutes to let it cool down.

is that a very common issue for 920?
I also heard ppl with screen problem & motherboard problem
then how u solve ur problem?

mine was 1st batch, got on launch day, no such issues though; i thought dat is fixed in firmware update already?

My front camera don't have dust but sometimes same thing happen. I think due to when I put in my pants pocket,
touching my thighs 2 times like double tap and accidently unlock then every tiles that touching again to my thighs open until I realize that phone become warm
Screen too sensitive

Not only L920.. other Lumia also got problem. Well, depends on how lucky you are. If you get a perfectly fine set, then good for you. Otherwise,

mine is 1st batch

1st batch when playing game ..near camera module there will very hot (but not until explode la ..still using it)

so far no issue on it ..just that time windows phone 8 aren't stable at all (using initial ROM) ..even u hard reset your device will brick your phone

now consider very stable already (compared to our 1st batch)

do some exercise yo
