SO yesterday night i charged my batt 100%, then i flight mode-ed it and went to sleep. The next thing i know when i woke up, batt juice dried up.

No kid bro. Before this incident I'm enjoying the same thing as you are enjoying.
Though I can't live without data so my usage would be like 1 charge/day.
But I have disabled most of the background apps, beside the batt app and whatsapp :/
Before this, I charged my phone, left it over night. Still full batt the next morning. No flight mode. But idk what had happened yesterday :/
And what will that be?
I soft reseted it and it seems to be pretty fine. Back to normal
Hopefully nothing will happen tonight, I forget to bring my charger back home

I don't think anyone would get/send messages at midnight aye?
Speaking of whatsapp, I keep getting the notification problem. Ask me to restart phone. Did it, the problem is still there zzz

is it true? any experience it before? I can also see customer bashing nokia at their fb page for 920 problem

I dont use whatsapp much, but i dont have such issue with facebook. That's odd. Are you on LTE? For me only up to H+.
For me it only gets very hot after prolonged gaming (like, 45mins or an hour of asphalt).
