You should really up your budget a little, take a city or Jazz CKD.  On everyway it will be a better ride, plus you will get rock solid resale value.

For longer term, a better bet.  It's outside the shortlisted ones, and above your budget, but you need to think harder, save just a bit more for a better car.

+1 to Jazz CKD.

Out of the 3 cars, I will choose the Saga. But if you are thinking about plonking RM70k for the Mirage, I'd rather take Preve Turbo for RM69k.

If you want to go for cute looks, the I guess you will still want Mirage.

My mom is using preve. Preve is nice but the fuel consumption is really bad. Really expensive to maintain it.

mirage quality also very sux... sit in my fren new mirage, manual, the engine sound is so loud even i seat at the back. then the door handle, when i wan to close the door, i pull the handle, the handle literally came half off!! wtf i realized the whole car is use clip one.. no screw.. even the middle console panel to the gearbox place, the thing also very flimsy, leg touch touch can move it edi. avoid mirage unless FC is very critical.

wow. is it that bad? how long have your friend been using the car? What do you mean "leg touch touch can move it edi." ?

Okay. Preve Turbo fuel consumption is not really that bad. However, if compared to 1.0-1.5cc vehicles then you can say the FC is bad. But in return, you get stability on highways, safety and comfort. You feel safe driving in Preve than in small cars like Mirage. Maintenance expensive? I don't think it is costly for a Proton.

i mean like u sit at passenger side, ur leg push the center console there plastic abit then u see it flimsy. my fren just got the car 1-2months ago. seriously, the handle is a joke, i nearly tercabut the handle when i close the door, another thing is the engine noise quite loud, louder than my preve i very sure when pickup.

I'm driving mirage for almost 1 year FC is gud when u maintain 2000rpm all the time. 140km/h in highway still stable but when 150 a bit floating. pick up is so damn slow this is the main reason i regret on getting this car.

I already tested drive all car. Either me like the look of saga more than myvi. Only I concern about fuel consumption for saga. Daily I only drive 3km roundtrip.

hard to be u
because if daily drive 3KM, mirage would be a good choice
but since u say that u drive KL-melaka 2 times a month, saga would be a good choice for that
depends on your choice
but FC, mirage is quite godly compare to the other 2
mirage is not bad in highway but saga does it better

should be since it uses CVT
those who say maintaining 2k RPM, high change its auto/CVT

yes, I'm using auto. If compare to myvi 1.3 auto, I would say that myvi is much more powerful than mirage as my previous myvi experience.

i would top up a little for 75k Jazz if I were you.
Very suitable for ladies, small easy parking with big interior.

if really can't stretch that 5k i would still go for Myvi. Its a much better car than Mirage, test drive and you will know. Just sitting in both of them its quite obvious. 4 cylinder will always be better than 3 cylinder, since both is NA. Pickup is so much better in Myvi.

Saga FLX is not bad too, like other mentioned, highway cruise a much better place to be. Parking it would not be easier than a Myvi though. City drive a lot, Myvi will have the edge too.

Highway a lot = Saga FLX
City drive = Myvi

I'd take Myvi anytime between these 3. (Don't shove off a good car in your list just because its a majority on the road)

nope...i drive it side by side before
2k RPM...its about the same..neck in neck
when reach a certain speed, 70KM/H something, mirage can speed away already
if u want pickup fast, viva is the one that is fast
the myvi only feels fast

Normally my highest speed at highway is at 120. Only when I want to cut the car in front. Do you thinks it's still suitable for me. After reading this... I feel like maybe mirage is not a good choice. sad.gif

yes, myvi i dn't own one but i drive few time only...so can't comment much
but alot of member dn't recommend driving fast on myvi
mirage is not bad, only downside is the tyre is too narrow
if u can change it to a wider rim and wider tyres, that would be great
if u wanna go fast on highway, saga FLX SE would be your choice
3KM roundtrip to work, i think ok la...u can accept the FC

Preve value but the size is big, if you can handle that size this care should be ok and FC is high. Else for a girl, top up 5k for Jazz CKD or Kia Rio.
