mostly plate from mysikap cant be transfer . if u not registered within 3 months , other people can buy it again

u can tender any states . better just hope that ebid gonna open to all plate then it very easy compare to tender , u need to go the hq each states to submit all documents . mostly people use the runner

Hi everyone, sorry I’m not sure where to ask this question —- I have a headache question that I hope someone can help me with because I’ve tried calling jpj - no answer from them, asking a car salesman but he’s not clear with the answers.

So - I bought a car number plate under my name but without the car yet. It is coming to its expiry date and I want to transfer that car number plate to my husband’s name to put on a new car (his ncd rates are better). Can I do that? What should I do? How much will it cost? How to write a letter to jpj?

Has anyone experienced this before or done this before? Please help - thank u very much!

Another question - Does it matter which jpj I can go to? It’s a perak plate but I’m in Selangor. Do I need to go to jpj perak or can I get it done at the jpj in Selangor?

Go try JPJ Selangor first.
If cannot, then only go to JPJ Perak.

As for as I'm concern, you need to go back to the state JPJ where the car plate belongs. I just done extension for my VCV car plate and I was told I only can do at Wilayah JPJ.
