It was installed on Nikkon old models, cant sure which since it was 3 decades ago.
Should looking for Nikkon adapter for Nex-6 the better direction then. But is Nikkon's lens' mount generic for all their lenses; and is the lens mount same as decades ago?

might need some cleaning service too as the interior of the lens seems to have some dusts and touchprints, and I not sure if I could dissemble it.

If Nikon and 3 generations ago then you will have no issues getting a mount.. Look up ebay for Nikon to NEX adapter.. they will be about CIF US$20 or there about if you shop around.

I have those generation of len too. Very heavy Zoom for the NEX but fun to play with. Image quality my not be great based on what I have read on this lens. But never know. Yours could be different. I experimented with various old lens until I finally found a couple that I am really attach to.

Just bought nex 5r from lowyat forumner... He said the camera is new... Yeah coz i cud not find any flaw... But i doubt the packaging... It was like being opened before... And sum more when he demo to me.. He open the box with seal was still intact... But when i got home... The box was open before and seal was broken at the bottom of the box not top... Jilaka ini orang...

Anyway since i can still reg and got warranty... I feel lega a bit... At least it got covered. Should i reveal the person... Btw he sell at very cheap price... Dunno la cheap or not but considerncheap for 5r.

Yup. also released together are two nex lens. a refreshed 50mm and 16-70mm F4 lens. I'm aiming for the 16-70mm F4

me too. get this and ditch the 16-50 wonder how much will it be 35mm already cost me rm1.2k.

New firmware released today for nex 5r, nex 6 , nex 7 and a99 , can download from sony malaysia support page d .

A99 Update Details:

1) Provides support for the Dual AF function compliant lens: SAL50F14Z
2) Addition of HDMI simultaneous output mode
In addition to the existing HDMI simultaneous output during movie recording, the camera will be able to display smooth smooth 60fps(NTSC)/50fps(PAL) video on an external monitor connected via HDMI and on the LCD screen of the camera simultaneously also during movie recording standby.
Note: The camera needs to be in Movie mode with [HDMI Info. Display] set to [Off].


NEX-7 Update Details:

1) Addition of AF drive system for movies
AF drive system for movie was added in order to enhance the scalability of future E-mount systems. This feature ensures a higher degree of flexibility in the design of future E-mount lenses. We will be able to provide lenses that can even better satisfy our customers.


NEX-6 and 5R Update Details:

First impressions wasn't that great. Cheap evf, light body, lq lcd.. But keep in mind it's pretty cheap.

That's for playmemories mobile. The Apps themselves are downloaded straight on the camera, no need a PC. Some apps are free, some have to pay.
