sweeping is quicker, without having to search for the icon to tap on

and by the way.. why wanna raise an argument by telling who copy who... its obvious that all of them copy each other.. and not important its from who.. as long as it is improved for us end user...

personally i prefer the iphone, more cleaner look,
android has room for improvement

Both OS got their pros and cons,and both how they work in camera or other ways are TOTALLY different,you can't compare like that

Look at Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 4,the speed and overall smoothness is barely noticeable,even though its a huge upgrade in processor and RAM

That's why there's custom ROM and all the features for android,just like iPhone,without jailbreak,it wouldn't be so perfect

as for your comparison, i'd like to see something like 5s vs N5 when it comes out, since i think the hardware you are using has quite a big performance difference

oh yeah, now Google Now become part of launcher. now total 4 ways to launch it, new way swipe to left 1st home screen. I don't mind it, seldom use voice search, but Google Search, Yes

after see all all these new feature or changelog for Android 4.4, not really surprise us as regular flashing ppl, because most of that already available from custom rom and even more features (I believe google take the features vs. performance balance consider) but is good and improve for those don't flash.

So what's your point for posting these stuffs here?I don't see how processor is really related to those swiping and all that,but what I can say is when I compare my Nexus 4 to my cousin 4s in subway surfer,the smoothness on nexus 4 is much more noticeable,I also tried games like temple run,temple run oz,and some other game,so in the end for us(maybe only me),the price of the 4s is expensive than nexus 4 and yet the nexus 4 has a better smoothness,EVEN if nexus 5 is slower or laggier than iPhone 5s,in the end,its still cheaper

From the video and 4.4 kit kat leaks, i will say n5 is uglier than n4 (look like cheap plastic) , and 4.4 kit kat is kinda "big thunder small rain" .

I dont know why they add a camera icon on the lock screen though, the "slide to the left" to open camera is more easier, and not so copy ipong.
