it's a 5 inch phone... someone needs to fit a bigger battery in, even with all those S800 battery life optimizations...
also, google seems to have sorted out their stock issues, proof is that we don't see much shortage on the N7 2013, i'm expecting the N5 to get delivered very soon, no more 2 months waiting list like N4...
as for the camera, I'm hoping they use the G2 optical stabilization too, but that seems to be quite a stretch of budget....

there is some rumors spreading currently saying Google integrated ParanoidAndroid feature, PER APP COLOR (PAC) into Android 4.4 KitKat. What do you think?
i can live with 8mp non OIS camera, gives me a reason to keep my e-pm2
as for nexus 5, i'm thinking it'll be an 8mp non OIS camera, since 1. have to be lower spec than g2, hence 8mp 2. have to be cheaper, hence no OIS 3. only 8mp OIS that i know of is nokia 920/925, doubt those camera modules will come in this phone...
i actually prefer this naming system, seperation by years instead of increasing model numbers... it's like cars, honda accord 1996 vs honda accord 2013
if we want, we can make some calculations using LG G2's data Lg G2 video playback test by gsmarena is around 11 hours with a 3000mah battery, 2300mah is around 75% of that, so we should have around 8hours of video playback on the Nexus 5... for comparison, iphone 5s is around 9 hours, so i think battery life shoudn't be a problem (though i welcome more battery, anytime)
also, 2gb of ram is plenty enough, IMO... android uses ram differently than windows...
But does it makes sense to have different battery capacity for 16gb and 32 gb from a manufacturer perspective? for sure the housing and dimension would be different to accomodate the bigger battery?
ditto
but then maybe that's how they are saving the costs? if the 3000 mah battery is like the unit used in G2 google should be able to maintain the dimension, but the it'll cost more since it's a new technology...

quicker? LOL.... tell me again, which one is quicker?
ndragon said it for me
i meant quicker in the sense that we don't have to find an icon to tap on
ie i can just swipe as i take my phone out of the pocket without looking at the screen
as for your comparison, i'd like to see something like 5s vs N5 when it comes out, since i think the hardware you are using has quite a big performance difference

nice, woke up to good news!! i really dig the design, minimalistic... though the round earpiece is a bit out of place, but that's fine... was hoping that it comes in the colour like in the leaked manual, but seems to be black instead, guess i can't have it all...
GOOGLE WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?? SHIP IT ALREADY, WE ALREADY KNOW EVERYTHING!!
google just start selling it already... we already know everything... and TBH, 4.4 is more like a stop-gap until you release 5.0... so just release the phone now, i need a new phone ASAP....
