you are wrong, I am on streamyx 4MB package and I do receive all the HD channels in the package..however, the only downside is loading can take a little bit longer, that's all
I am still using the old CRT TV and planning ahead to get a good LCD/LED TV that has HDMI and supports good reso as well, not only to STB but I am planing to build my own media server that runs XBMC from it. In curiosity to see how good HD in hypptv, I went to a friend's house as he subscribed to Mega and Sports packs, seen all the said HD channels myself I've to agree that what I've seen is not really a HD, but SD with good reso. Both of us went to TM Point and asked them about these HD thingy, the guy explained to us that no HD for streamyx currently.
I brought this matter to Hypp World (hypptv fb page), quoted some of related Q&A from them:-

As long as you using Streamyx, u can view only in SD but it will be more clear and no buffering when you watch HyppTV.
thanks

well Farid from what I got with hypp on streamyx and using 1080 full HD Bravia 42 inch ... the STB only runs well in Components. Even with the HDMI cable with setting in 1080p/i ... it will auto sync down to 546 only. So I gone back to component and freed up the HDMI, since no point watching SD with HDMI

You're right, Adam. No point in watching SD with HDMI. However, I noticed that my HDTV does detect the signals from the STB as 1080i even tho the picture quality is like either 480i or 576i. Amen to the HDTV upscaling tho... at least 'em SD channels still looking better and clearer (as if 720p with low sharpness) than on other TVs out there.

Hi Adam..
