Some apps in u tap back button at main menu view will prompt u either to exit the app. If u simply tap home button, the app will be on standby, u can relaunch as multitasking purpose.. But for most heavy apps such as games, it will auto exit if u leave it in background for long time.. Android will auto kill some apps that u did not use for quite some time but hogging the memory to clear ram memory.

Why would root affect standby time??
Different people uses their phone differently. So another person standby will definitely be different from yours.
I used more than 80% of the phone on Internet related stuffs ( browsing, email, Facebook, tweeter, RS's newsreel etc) n mainly on 3g most of the time.
I am never bother with the standby time as it changes daily. I charge my phone at worst once every 2 days n so standby is never a issue.
This is mine as of now

Stamina mode OFF
Both WiFi and Mobile Data turned ON
GPS, Sync, NFC, Bluetooth all turned ON
Usage: Watch movies, research with heavy Google search, play some MMORPG.

Charging my device at the moment but with
1 hour screen on time, I lost about 25%

Noticeable ~10% more battery consumption compared with .475 rooted.

Still suspecting is due X-Reality consumes more power as it does more processing.

So far rooting has not caused me extra battery consumption recklessly. All is due to my installed root-based services like full!Screen+, roundR, Freedom, Lucky Patcher, Game Guardian, and a lot more.

make sure u replace the chinese super SU app if u wish to root via vRoot.

I notice that this XZU very light, I set it at 0% but it still very light.

After root.. Can apps move to sd card?
Cause last time before update I have root mine but can't move any apps to sd card.

Why never upgrade yours or you flash back?

Use 'screen dimmer' from playstore
It make ur screen blacker which very comfortable with my eyes when I play game at night haha

My standby time 12 hours only as I'm a heavy duty user

i never thought of moving anything, anywhere. 11gb is more than enough for 185 user apps tht i currently using lol~
but anything is possible these days. it's just a matter of want or donwan...

root and battery life is really not related like uncle said. is depend on ur usage. u will definitely use more battery if after root u are using a lot of root-based app that will adds extra background services on ur device
