Sorry to ask, but what is the function of the shatter proof film? If I don't use screen protector on top of it, if in future the shatter proof film got badly scratch, can I send to Sony to replace new one?

Weird.. I turned off location service, and did not use map currently, but why it shows up in battery usage? And what is Google services do? I already turned off Google now as well..

Anyway, I've also try submerging it in the pool for like 15 minute, the ip58 rating seems good and also back in v2 I saw ppl having the eternal sleep like when you lock your phone, it will sleep and unable to wake up till you reset the phone withthe little red button near the sim card tray.

Still no fix?

My understanding (purely my opinion) is that this works like the tint screens in your car. It stops the BROKEN glass from flying all over the place, but doesn't protect your glass very much. Or maybe it is like the "armor" tint screens that do help a bit in reducing the probability of shattering.

Just got the unit yesterday ( * black unit ) .

Fully charged ... 8AM 100% .... now 1030AM 88% ( Just touch touch around 10-15mins ) . It's normal ???

PS * When can i get the SP with installation provided ???

Not sure if using sp is a good idea.. I removed mine

Checked this phone out at the Sony Centre at The Gardens a few days ago, very nice. Fast, responsive (even on a demo unit). Managed to mess with a few settings and I liked it. Great design.

What happened oh , yesterday the bugger installed Matte SP but the screen become worst ( * FOC ... dont bother to complain )

Just install SP to feel secure

There's already a SP installed by Sony. Now you double install SP.

Maybe you are lucky don't have screen problem.

But a some of people touchscreen screw up after install SP.

Yea it's a bit screwed up after the free speech. Not as responsive and sometimes difficult to zoom in.

That means my graphic chip got problem I still get flakes or irregular images.

guys to you experience over sensitive on the screen while scrolling up and down email? It feels like it double click it self... i was browsing up and down but sometimes it executes or open some files.... is it software issue?

Did you put on Screen Protector?

I think it's the chrome issue.. Try to view the same video in YouTube app.. I guess it should work just fine.. I tried to stream HQ video on YouTube app, it ran smooth

The screen is very weak. Yesterday night, i accidentally drop the USB cable on top of the screen, connector side hit the screen and that's it; Chip off. Luckily not cracking the whole screen.....

I tried other browsers also same problem.

The screen is actually quite strong (dragontail) it's the anti shatter film that can easily scratched, that's why ppl apply sp on top. If it's not because of this I will not be using a sp.
