The comparison to AGEF based on factsheet:
Sector allocation (top contribution) ---------------------------------------- Aberdeen: Energy (19%) Healthcare (18%) Materials 13%) Industrials (11%) AGEF: Finance (29%) Con Discret (20%) IT (15%) Energy (11%)
Countries (top contribution) -------------------------------
Aberdeen: USA (17%) UK (14,5%) Switzerland (9.6 %) Japan (9.5%) French (8.9%) Italy (5.7%) Brazil (5.1%) Canada (4.9%) AGEF: USA (12.8%) Japan (12.7%) Cina (8.4%) HK (8.4%) Thailand (7.5%) Indonesia (7.2%) Australia (6.1%) Korea (5.3%) Malaysia (5.2%)
*i see here AGEF has more portion of Asian countries, Aberdeen more in Europe
So i think Aberdeen is quite interesting to expand the diversity, isn't it?

Why don't u ask FSM directly? Ask their Live Help. Go to FSM website and click on Live Help, u get immediate response to simple queries. I think Beneficiary option may be not available for PRS...I'm not too sure.

Pros: - zero sales charge - tax relief Cons: - u cannot withdraw before retirement without being charged penalty - range of funds are somewhat limited for now

QUOTE(detirta @ Oct 21 2013, 02:00 PM) Hello there.. Wondering if anybody bought Aberdeen Islamic World Equity Fund this month. So far still no discussion to this fund. I'm still thinking to add it into my portfolio to extend my Global equity exposure beside my AGEF. It is recovering in value due to volatility in the world markets.
