Will the whole US debt ceiling drama affect Malaysia exposed fund like Kenanga and KidSave?

when was the last drama? any serious consequences after that?

The last drama was 2 years ago and prompted to a downgrade in US rating from tripe A to double A. Remember that?

but after that, Kenanga and Kidsave got a "good" run.
will that repeat this time? with QE tapering, M'sia downgrade....

After that? Are u implying that malaysia bond and equity will get hit this week hence affecting malaysia funds?

can't imply much...just to let you know,...my kidsave that I held since early May are still not yet reach SC (-1.7%) till now
Hwang Sel Balance, Hwang Sel Income also still in RED since May after the announcement of QE tapering, (so I guess it looks like whatever linked to Asia/EM bond kena a little lor)
Kenanga...I did not have it...I think it is better than my kidsave.
