there are 3 interviewer during the interview (for officers positions).
they all are in high gov positions with very high ratings, not just anyone can be called to be the interviewer.
so, they will be professional in their work.
if one interviewer favours his/her relative, the other 2 interviewers might not.

however, these things do happen.
not just the gov, everywhere also got..

i was also asked to give more chance to a certain someone by their relative when i was called to interview grade 17 post.
all i said was "kalau dia bagus, saya consider la.." that's it.
in the end, the person is below average, got others who were better, so tak dpt la...

from my experience, it took almost 3-4 months after the exam result to the PAC stage.
i guess it'll be held in Jan 2010.

any tips for the examination?

august 3-4 month become nov or dec?

i mean from the date u guys got the result, not took the exam.

my exp: exam feb, result march and the pac was july

ur situation: exam aug, result sept rite? add 4 months n u'll get jan aite?

but since there will be another exam,on oct, i guess they'll drag the date for
pac some more to merge with the earlier batch who passed the exam on aug.

but all of this just a prediction tho

haiz.. my fren is a ptd and working for foreign service in Islamabad.. in 1 and half years, his salary now is rm4k.. allowance is more than 8k.. haiz... siapa kate kerja gomen xleh gaji tinggi.. malaysian ambassador yg kat oversea sume tuh ptd lah dulu..

Each ministry can hire their own M41s on contract basis. But pls be advised that contract officers hired by ministries does not enjoy the same benefits as permanent officers/officers hired by SPA. For example, U can't apply for govt loan, or quarters. But the salary scale is the same.

Added on October 3, 2009, 11:21 pmIf Ur friend is already overseas in 1 and half years, considered extremely lucky. In most cases, we have to wait 3 years before getting posted overseas, most of my batch (2006) is still waiting to get posted.
