that Ultra Magnus you mentioned might be Star Saber, as both got almost the same color scheme. And Star Saber can Battle Up with his other part called V-Star i think. Both are from the Victory series

.....and they are the closest thing to a real transformers that you can get. to me, it's even better than the masterpiece series. real details in vehicle mode and good articulations in robot mode(of course some molds are better than others). plus, the crazy transformation , it's toy engineering at work. sad that the line can't continue. alternity is just way too small .

sad that it had to be discontinued.. alternators and alternity had a lot of potential.. sad that they couldn't get some licences, i heard, so some characters never made it to the line.. but for the few that i am able to get, i love the line and it really is a marvel of toy engineering hopefully though, that now Takara has Lambo's licence, they might look into producing more of the line? maybe the GT ones are to push the Alternity line back on track before newer releases come out? one can hope
