hey,im on OP hunting
which is the best, mp10 or mp04?
*
the old MP mold (MP01/MP04) are bigger, heavier and more exclusive looking(because it's big and heavy).
the new mold MP10 is smaller, more plastic-ky but can pose better(because its' lighter) and has somewhat extra detailing.

me, i'd always prefer the old MP mold. a "masterpiece" shouldn't be drowned up by a leader class. shakehead.gif

PS:

an MP10 wouldn't look so good in this pic sweat.gif :

smile.gif yes, MP10 is more to scale with current MP line.
*
it's more of a cost cutting conspiracy shocking.gif . make a smaller MP OP so they can justify why MP rimlock and MP rodimus are smaller. as such, all other MPs afterward can be smaller than an alternator but with a more hefty price tag. shakehead.gif

MP01 have horribly loose waist swivel.
*
anything with as much metal as MP01/04 would have joint issues. it's more than a kilo. top heavy too. off course the hip, waist and knee joint would suffer(good thing the hips and knees are ratcheted). same thing with humans if you're overweight whistling.gif .

Lastly, before you decide, hold one in your hand, feel the heft of the Optimus prime diecast. Then you will know which one is right for u.
*
and considering you can get a hefty MP04 for sub Rm500(originally) and the new MP10 for close to Rm700. it absurdly clear you're being ripped off by TakTom shakehead.gif .

Alternity/Alternator was not a cartoon series. They are a line which using car's brand franchise to hybrid with Transformers G1 as near as possible. The size and design are realistic as using all modern cars.
*
.....and they are the closest thing to a real transformers that you can get. to me, it's even better than the masterpiece series. real details in vehicle mode and good articulations in robot mode(of course some molds are better than others). plus, the crazy transformation thumbup.gif , it's toy engineering at work. sad that the line can't continue. alternity is just way too small doh.gif .

Ya bro... Wheeljack is superb and amazing... Now targeting for Smokescreen and Bluestreak.. brows.gif
*
the mustang mold has the most ball joints, kinda cool, but gets loose over time. i've always liked the imprezzas, but the chicken leg is a real turn off.

QUOTE(HxiiiK @ Sep 9 2013, 08:50 AM)
don't have those yet sad.gif smokescreen is usually too expensive.. bluestreak is alright, but i'm targetting the big guy himself, OP first tongue.gif

u should try to get Tracks too, he's also one of the amazing molds.. i also love Ravage for his alt mode, simply amazing laugh.gif
*
OP is the most over rated alt/BT. bad design imo. tracks is great and has the most arsenal, a bit heavy on the kibbles but who don't like a z06? notworthy.gif . try skids too, the most under rated alt/BT. he is quite cool and sturdy in both modes. thumbup.gif . also to note, the jeep and rx-8.

What can I see here the major cause is Asian collectors behavior, when one particular item is widely available, people tend to take it for granted and wait for price drop and put a bet on it. Once become sought after and hard to find, then start to rant and make all sorts of complaints e.g people scalp lah, last time price was only how much lah (ironically you were the one who complaint initial price was expensive) blah blah blah... On the other hand, same bunch of people when they re-sell their item(s) expensively then is reasonable and not consider as scalping...  doh.gif

i couldn't agree more......or is there an agree more button here? nod.gif

somebody help me
have troubles turning wheeljack alternator from robot mode into car mode
problem mainly at the crotch section, i cannot turn the damn thing, it is too tight!
*
you mean the part where you turn the lower crotch 180 degree?

it shouldn't be tight even for a new one. i'm guessing you got it from someone? just unscrew the crotch and look inside. perhaps it was broken and glued together? hmm.gif that would suck. cry.gif

problem solved, i just used WD 40  rclxms.gif  spray all over the crotch
*
BAD idea bro! shocking.gif WD40 contains petroleum compounds that are:
1. bad for plastics
2. strip/dissolve paint

please clean it ASAP and use either pure silicone oil or just plain baby oil(mineral oil, not singer oil).

seriously, WD40 is good for metal, but it's bad for plastic and wood....and rubber too.

in just a week i collect almost all of the human alliance, including stealth bumblebee
only soundwave i left out, the price is outrageous, rm 300??? baik aku beli leader class  laugh.gif
i just bought wheeljack alternator, the car mode is wow, but the transformation is crazy
took me 2 hour  shocking.gif
*
let me guess, the shoulder giving you trouble? try leaving it in bot mode for a few months then try to transform it to a alt mode again. feels like doing a puzzle laugh.gif

QUOTE(HxiiiK @ Sep 27 2013, 07:44 AM)
binaltech wheeljack is one of the best, imo.. great car mode, amazing robot mode, and very interesting transformation thumbup.gif
*
agreed, the mold with the most ball joints. thumbup.gif the alt version tends to get loose joints over time, not sure if the bt suffers the same. skids and tracks have good transformation too, btw. i'm prone to playing with skids nowadays, probably because i've a owned grimlock for years already and kinda bored with it.

no it doesn't transform.. and it should be in the statues and bust thread.. i don't see what it has to do with gundam sweat.gif

never been to statues and bust. it's a mecha(although not kits), might as well be there. it's not a "transformers". was just picking some random thread for it to belong to instead of here. laugh.gif
