nope. Well the phone was.. less than 24 hours old. They did a extensive check tho. They wiped the phone, re-flash stock rom, wipe partition and reflashed again.

Just got back from PC Fair... omai~ I really like Huawei Ascend P6! Phone is really slim and even the bezel is so narrow.

The IPS display is even better than my Nexus 4! I wonder why, so I did a bit of checking. It turn out that P6 is even brighter than Nexus 4. Nexus 4 screen is bright at max 608cd/m2, a lot better than most phone (Samsung S4 just 404cd/m2)... but P6 is at 670cd/m2... I dont know why, I am always attracted to bright screen...

Tested the "Emotion UI"... kind of OK, but I still like pure Android. brows.gif

ps: price is only RM1399!

Other than that everything ok? Last time I use CM10.2 they have something wrong with the browser, like flickering.

from my previous experience. i would never touch huawei again. Their updates are slow, and the phone i was previously using, they only give me Beta version ICS. wtf. Not even the real ICS. Not to mention, their "service center" is 1 dodgy shop lot above a chinese praying shop....

You will face problem. There still whole list of unresolved bugs.

Huawei's Android customization is so-so only.
Software support is even crappier.

Doubt you can even build AOSP ROM since Huawei is currently using own SOC which lacks hardware documentation. So users have to noice but keep using Huawei's softwares.

Deadlocks. JSS builds have this issue which is still not resolved. Some third party ROM maker waiting to Google to fix the issue. Some teams like PA is combining JWR & JSS codes to sort of fix this issue. As far as I know only CM are proceeding with full JSS code base. Few days ago there was number of trebuchet fix committed. Still got issue with it?

Roughly 36 hours for me. use tasker to manage my data connection. Hy phone will only use data for 3 minutes for each 1/2 hour.

Most or all smartphone came with these standard application so that anyone who bought the phone could use keyboard with their language without installing 3rd party keyboard.

Nexus 4 is considered quite clean, if you've purchased some other phone Sony/Samsung/etc there are more bloat ware came along with them compared to Nexus 4.

Though you can uninstall them by rooting your phone, if you dun wan to root your phone then you can just leave them alone.

guys i need to update to JWR66Y...but now my phone was root and unlock on JWR66V..
so can i just update via phone or use factory image and rooting again?
*
Cant update via OTA with rooted phone
I use stock rom with custom kernel, had to flash back factory image then flashed a modded JWR66V so it'll install for rooted phone.

Or another way, source XDA developer
QUOTE
NOTE: This will ONLY work on totally stock but rooted. If you changed anything else at all, then you will need to load stock to get the OTA patch to work.

1/ Do a Full Unroot in the SuperSU app.
2/ BEFORE you reboot, download the OTA file to your device.

http://android.clients.google.com/pa...V.6136cbe0.zip

3/ BEFORE you reboot, download the SuperSU ZIP installer.
