For those who are using Ringke Fusion casing is your outer layer of acrylic scratch free?

Mine is full wit scratch so I decided to just cut a carbon fibre sticker & just stick it at back.Look kinda cool now.Black & read colour does look cool.

How is your battery life currently?

The system flashing method exist in Android,iOS & WP. With decent technical knowledge you can wipe clean any of the device using these OS. But IMO it's easier to modify Android devices.

Tracking tools don't do much good but IMEI blocking is a good way to disable the radio functionality. Again Android come out bit short in this department because it's technically possible to change IMEI in Android device. Proof of concept are readability available.

So,someone mentioned about Nexus 4's poor camera again?
Well yeah,even I'll agree that the camera picture output isn't good under low light & sound recording isn't so good.
I'm waiting to see Sony's Z1 and later the new Nexus. Nexus 4 is an excellent device with for me some of the issues are limited storage,poor camera quality & otg support. If Google improve the camera & added back OTG support I might upgrade to new Nexus. If the new Nexus come with similar issue I might go for Sony Z1.

So why Sony? 3 reasons.1) Overall good build software/hardware, 2) Good hardware AOSP hardware code availability, 3) Camera. When I bought my Nexus 4 I sort of made a commitment to AOSP build of Android. I really love the performance & UI of the AOSP version of Android. Since Sony doesn't change much of the Qualcolmm hardware code from CAF and they provide the extra codes in their repository it's possible to build excellent AOSP based ROM for Xperia devices as demonstrated by the CM team with Xperia Z.

My sisters iPhone4 kinda looks like dying. If Sony release Z1 in Malaysia before December I might influence her to buy it & mess with it myself before thinking further.

You will face problem. There still whole list of unresolved bugs.

Huawei's Android customization is so-so only.
Software support is even crappier.

Doubt you can even build AOSP ROM since Huawei is currently using own SOC which lacks hardware documentation.So users have to noice but keep using Huawei's softwares.

Deadlocks. JSS builds have this issue which is still not resolved. Some third party ROM maker waiting to Google to fix the issue. Some teams like PA is combining JWR & JSS codes to sort of fix this issue. As far as I know only CM are proceeding with full JSS code base. Few days ago there was number of trebuchet fix committed. Still got issue with it?

Roughly 36 hours for me. use tasker to manage my data connection. Hy phone will only use data for 3 minutes for each 1/2 hour.

I got 21K with stock rom & franco kernel 182.

ADB sideload?
If cannot sideload from recovery ot might be eMMC memory faulty.

^Somebody buy that Ringke Fusion.
Saved my Nexus 4 twice after it decided to take swan dive.

Scratch less & no funny noise coming from inside the phone.
BTW I got my N4 the 1st day N4 was launched in Malaysia. After nearly 9 months all my buttons are still working without any issue.

For those interested, even though N4 has 2 giant glasses at front & bag it makes same cheap noise like plastic phone when it's dropped to floor.
