Yes you must flash the new bootloader and baseband when moving from 4.2 to 4.3.

Thanks. Downloaded. Flashing now. I saw there's a few kernels available. Which one is recommended? Been out of the ROM flashing craze for so long already. Didnt really follow all the latest news. Franco kernel still good?

Dear thread admin, pls kindly add my nick as one of owner for this device.

Been using iOS all along for the past 4 yrs and this is my first Nexus device which I have gotten from someone.

Unfortunately the front screen is cracked which I need to repair it. Besides LG may I ask is there anywhere I can repair it? Couldn't able to access the IMEI number so cant register at LG webpage, lol

Looking forward for my Ballistic Shell Gel SG case to arrive from the US to complete my handset....

JSS is newer but if u wanna use JSS kernel, your ROM must be compiled for JSS build also otherwise you will see screen tearing effect.

Anyone with stock ROM must just JWR kernel (custom or stock) too to avoid problem.

can use (still boot up and everything), but you will see some strange tearing effect. for stock ROM, use JWR kernel.

I have flashed stock ROM 4.3,this is my first time using stock android for nexus 4 as when I just bought,I straight away flash to PA ROM,never expect that stock ROM is so smooth and stable, also bug free, the reason I switched to stock ROM is because I can't update to latest PA 4.3 no matter what method I tried, there are sure something that's not functional, like the home button, pie,or even halo, after experiencing the smoothness of stock ROM,I decided to stay with it

CM will only build Android ROM based on the latest code committed which is the JSS15J

Hi guys, I'm having issues with Google services eating up my bandwidth. Almost my whole quota of 3gb was used up within a week. Any idea what is wrong with the settings? I'm on PA 3.6. And I have never encounter anything like this before with all PA Roms. I've since then blocked all background data for gapps until I can find out what's the issue.

disable system update service and see. i also experience this last week. just renew my data and suddenly this thing eats up my data shakehead.gif
