Totally agreed, mine also have this problem too bad warranty was over, at the end i remove the side grip & sticky layer of the top, spray it with white paint (steelseries logo gone ) & change the side grip rubber. QUOTE(dkm2350 @ Nov 21 2016, 10:35 PM) brand new rival? i tot they fixed it? yeah quite new. Within one month of ownership it started to degrade. I would advise to stay away from the rival products because of the cheapo rubber they use.

QUOTE(dkm2350 @ Nov 22 2016, 08:10 PM) pics and guide pls. Actually not complicated skill, the mouse is very easy to dismantled by removing the 4 screw under the mouse feet, then just rub away the top sticky layer by using sand paper, actually i'm using Dremel rotary tool, after that using fine grade sand paper (i'm using grade 800>1200>2000) to sand it to smooth surface, and then paint spray. The side grip actually stick to the bottom cover, need to use tool (i'm using screw driver) to remove it. Attached thumbnail(s)
